If I had to guess QB coach I'd guess Mike McCoy

His snap count went down towards the end of the season and in the playoffs 3 out of the 4 games his snaps were in the teens. That's simply not a 12 million dollar player. Now I do like him so hope there's an extension, but I doubt Howie pays him 12 mil per year.

He had 21% of the Defensive snaps in the Playoffs in games where the Eagles trailed the opponent for only 5 minutes and 43 seconds out of 240 minutes … 2.2% of the  time.  The opposition was almost entirely locked into a passing game plan. And Davis got 2 sacks in his  57 Playoffs snaps.

Then we should never  discuss any change from coach to coach, they're all different people with nothing to do with the other.

It's literally the exact same situation, an unproven internal hire after an amazing offensive season

Just because one internal hire with no experience didn't work out doesn't mean another one will. Just like if a guy with experience is hired and doesn't work out doesn't mean you refrain from hiring someone again who has experience. Every person and situation is unique. Trying to draw conclusions based off certain factors is a lazy take.

Wild that they’ve got guys laying down in front of pucks in a packed arena.  NHL has got to be loving this.

After year 2-Williams=4

After year 2-Ojomo=0

Again you are using a simplistic single variable to describe a complex multi variant situation.

The irony is that prior to his Super Bowl performance I thought there was a chance we could get Williams back at 11-13 per year, 3-4 years - something along those lines because realistically, his overall career performance would have justified somewhere in that range.

His Super Bowl performance is likely what is going end up getting him paid upwards of 17-20 mil per, imo.

I don’t expect he will get less than 20.

Unproven to us wet-behind-the-ears outsiders.  But possibly … just possibly … not unproven to insiders.

The Johnny chant was awesome

Signing Seumalo to play RG > paying Becton.

Pittsburgh would be crazy to do this btw.

Interesting.  It becomes Seumalo plus a comp pick as opposed to Becton and no comp pick.  I’ll be interested to hear what @just relax thinks about the comparison.

I am assuming that Seumalo becomes the backup Guard and Steen starts.

Here's one thing that I remember about McCoy. When he was the hot head coaching prospect because he was Peyton Manning's offensive coordinator (and isn't it hilarious how Manning's greatness seemingly automatically spilled over to every coach who happened to coach him...as if he wasn't going to be great anyway and their input probably accounted for very little), he interviewed for the Eagles job that eventually went to Chip Kelly. And the reports that filtered out at the time were that he pretty much bombed the interview process. Apparently the Eagles (Howie and Lurie presumably) were not impressed at all. He was hired by the Chargers and was pretty much a failure there. So I'm not really sure what there would be to recommend this guy. Because he was the coach of a Peyton Manning offense that would have been good if anyone at all had held that job, he's somehow a brilliant mind?
