I don’t care if the tush push is banned.

I like it and want it to stay but if it goes so be it.  I'd feel much better about banning it if there were a bunch of teams successfully running it but as it stands it just feels like we are being unfairly punished because no one can stop us and no one else can do it.

If they ban the tush push, they need to ban all forms of pushing on offense.

If that's illegal than so are all these plays:

Who has been injured? Kelce said he didn't like it but I don't remember any injuries

They could saying "pushing is permitted only after the ball has successfully been brought beyond the line of scrimmage”

reverse of the forward lateral rule

Only injury I recall from the Tush Push is Chris Jones, and maybe him lining up sideways played a part in that. I don’t know. I’ve not seen where it’s any more dangerous than any other play.

Right.  Lining up totally sideways in any formation, against the tush push or not - - is just asking for punishment.

The only person that might take a few more hits is the QB (and maybe the center) but that’s going to happen during most short yardage QB sneaks - tush push or no tush push.

The whole "prevent Commanders from getting him" smells like BS. Since when has Howie made moves just to prevent another team? That's like one of the first lessons learned of how not to be a bad GM.

That was such an idiotic thing to do. He literally opened himself up to hits unguarded

Seriously they're worried about player safety when no one I can remember ever getting injured as part of the play.  Seems like one of the safer plays as no one is running full speed into another person.  Only time it was potential injury when Luvu was diving over the line trying to spear Hurts

Chris Jones needed a neck rub after one in the super bowl.

There's no in-game injuries really but you do have to wonder how much it piles up on their body. I forget exactly the quote but Kelce did say he hated the play because of the toll it took on his body. You have to wonder what it does to a guy like Landon whose always limping around or Jurgens who already has to have back surgery. I don't think anyone can make and prove a direct link though.

Give me my kickoffs back...

Personally, I think they need to mix it up on that play with the QB option. Or Wildcat option or just hand it off to Barkley. They have a great offensive line and it's over done. To do that all the time is risky. I'd do it on the critical plays only. Also preserves Hurts. He's not gonna wanna do that play in a couple of years. Pretty sure.

Howie is talking now. Forehead looks fine

Howie said their perspective evolves on which positions to pay. But whoever gets paid have to come from somewhere else

Howie was asked about a player (maybe Garrett).  He said he can't comment on a player on another team but that the Eagles consider every player that might be available

must have been fake.

He stuck around so long that I think he hurt his Hall of Fame resume.
