There's talk Griese could be going to MI as OC

Seems kinda old. They still haven’t hired an OC?

She also seems to have very uneven seems like mine. How does it fit?

Fits fine. It’s probably because it was just out of the package when I took that pic. Fanatics did botch my delivery address and they had to send me another one though. That’s become the standard for that dumpster fire of a company.

Trade him when his value is highest genius move by howie

Back to the giants for their #3 pick and next years 1st haha

Howie said more than the usual canned GM speak. He asked for patience and that things won't look like how others would expect...which they've done before of course. Last year Baun and Becton turned into surprise players. Fangio has now had a full year with the roster and I would trust him to know which young players are ready for expanded roles, which players he's comfortable letting walk. Also the draft picks last year had huge impact. When was the last time 2 rookies started on defense and played that well? Jalyx Hunt also stepped up toward the end of the season.

Also paying Baun would be outside his norm, to pay a LB.

Howie was working on the offseason plan before the Super Bowl (he said at the SB media interview). He paused for the game, got back to work, paused for the parade, got back to work.

I think the entire team is hungry for more, and to run it back properly unlike last time. Until they prove otherwise, I'm trusting their plan for the offseason.

What I took from Howie's PC is the quote that "this next season is the most important and we're trying to keep this window open as long as possible".

Yeah me too….thats what I walked away thinking

Hope he doesn't turn out like Rashaad Penny. Now that was a fun year talking about his greatness! 🤌

Ahh yes, Rashaad Penny, and Devin White. Two future inductees into the Frank Gore branch of the Eagles Ring of Honor.

Paying Barkley was outside his norm

Gonna throw out a potential name I could see interesting the Eagles this offseason as a sleeper trade. Jermaine Johnson from the Jets. Still a young guy, coming off an injury so may be acquirable for lower value than expected. Howie likes to buy low on former first rounders. And Jets have McDonald who they drafted. Not saying it will happen, but if the Eagles are exploring all options at edge, he's a guy I could see them maybe pursuing. And Johnson was a Joe Douglas guy, so the current regime has no attachment to him.

Why?

Because he is severely underrated by this board. It would be stupid for the Eagles to move on from him.  Plus he had two huge sacks in the playoffs.

That's another one. He did pay RBs in the past but no one expected going after Barkley.

What 4D chess will Howie be playing this year?

Because he's such a great run stuffer on very limited snaps?

Yeah he's good against the run and improving in pass rusher.  Only 25 years old. Braindead to move on from him.

Howie definitely has some unforeseen moves coming from his response. I still think Baun gets extended but no clue on the other 3. Maybe there's some post June 1 moves?

I definitely see the Eagles grabbing vets who were cut to help with comp picks.

i think Howie expects to lose most free agents but I don’t think he knows exactly how it will play out so I think the comments were more general

Finally one that doesn’t look absolutely ridiculous

Feel good about Baun, Becton, Rodgers staying. Slay could get cut, but honestly, he's 34/35. He's the oldest starting CB in the NFL. Teams don't like to go old at CB. It took until very late in the year for a team to sign Gilmore who was still pretty damn good. Teams just don't like older CBs. Would there even be a market for him elsewhere? I wouldn't be surprised if his agent can't find a market for him and he just stays his final year here on a reduced salary then retires after 2025.

That does sound like an interesting read.  Do those dolts honestly think something like that has any relevance from the day after they leave school?

When I finished Grade 4 the school wanted to skip me ahead to Grade 6; my mother intervened and prevented it.  I was mad at her at the time, but it was the best thing she could have done for me.  I'm born in November so I was 5 years old in Grade 1, and so on -- skipping me ahead a year would have put me even further behind my classmates physically (and socially), in some cases more than a year-and-a-half.

There were 6 other kids in class that did get skipped ahead.  I did look, as best I could, at what became of them (LinkedIn, google, etc.).  None of them became captains of industry, so to speak.

I changed schools after 10th grade and the new school accepted me into 11th grade, but my parents had me join the new school in 10th grade.  I was an August baby so like you I was one of the youngest kids in my class.  The extra year made a huge huge difference.

Looks generic

Would you do...

Eagles get: Myles Garrett (and pay a monster extension)

Browns get: #32, 2027 2nd, Tanner McKee
