From a need point of view, Baun is a must-have FA for the team.  Howie just have to make it work on money terms.  Becton may be possible, as he seems to appreciate the experience last season.  A home-team discount may apply.  Others will see what the market will bring.  Going with the younger players is wise as they are cheaper and more upside.  Following that, draft well and keep the pipeline humming.

No need I think.  He's on the books for two more years.  After that, there are some void years but they may disappear since only $1.5mm is guaranteed.
