That's me, too, most of the time. SO much so that when it's not there, it's like... "OMG, silence! Wow!" Then the next day it's back.

Too much M16 fire and explosions in the Army without any hearing protection is what did it to me.

I am also very high on the top EDGE's that are commonly mentioned. I like all the Georgia guys on both sides of the ball and there's quite a few this year. I would be quite happy with either of their pass rushers. I wonder if Tate Ratledge could be another Dickerson type OG. DT I am not blow away by but there's some. If Milt is out, Nolen would excite me some but he's probably gone in the teens. 

Ive seen Ezeiruaku mocked to us at the end of round 1 and I like that.

Revel is very enticing even though CB doesnt seem like it should be a need for us. Hes just so good.

Norman-Lott I think is going to continue moving up and becoming more well known.

Josiah Stewart is a guy Id consider trading up to 20 for if he is still there. 

Savion Williams is fun.

 

I would really like to prematurely give up on Johnny Wilson, and draft Jack Bech. Who'll handle the blocking WR role very well, and eventually prove to be starter quality.  It alleviates the possible need to re-sign Dotson. You would think the eagles are all over this guy considering their ties now with his late brother's sister, and best friend. I bet they know his family inside and out. Know his upbringing and the type of guy he is off the field. They have a head start on him and know him better than anyone.

And I would love to draft a QB this draft considering that it seems to make sense to trade Pickett (or even McKee but I definitely prefer to trade Pickett.). My mid round guy this year would probably be Kyle McCord.

Jalen Hurts wouldn't say what he called the play in the huddle. This example gave it away! Quartterbergen Sneak on 1 on 1!

Howie will do his magic, but I think this is the one step back season, got to clear some cap and eat dead money, and collect comp picks for 2026.

QB:  McKee showed he's ready for #2, time to move on from Pickett and garner something

RB:  Gainwell only returns at an affordable price, but can't see anyone paying him as a starter. Shipley and maybe middle round bruiser who can pass block

WR:  set

TE:  this is where Howie might spend draft capital, Goedert is starting to break down, Calcaterra is a H-back, need depth here

OL:  Becton's offer depends on Stoutland. I'm sure he'll sit down with Howie, tell him if Becton is replaceable and how big the dropoff to Steen and Keegan might be. Howie will draft a couple OL at some point in any case.

DL:  Williams is going to be priced out, someone will ignore the "Carter factor" and overpay based on his production on this team. Ojomo, Booker, Young and someone Howie finds. He'll also be looking for NT depth, if Davis goes down, that exposes the base defense.

Edge:  If Sweat gets offered big money he's gone. Huff may stay as a pass rush specialist, which is what he is. Smith and Hunt will start next year, so we're talking depth, development OLBs and pass rush 3rd down specialists.

LB:  Depends on what Baun is offered, tough market for 28 year old who may be perceived as a product of Fangio's defense, he'll get paid but how much. Dean can't be counted on, so Burks returns, Trotter and Howie finds someone else.

CB:  Slay returns b/c it costs more to move him, he's a veteran presence, and at this point if he's benched for Ringo he won't make a fuss. Rodgers goes if someone offers starter money.

S:  set

Don't be surprised if Howie doesn't nothing if he doesn't have enough secondary FAs leave to protect the high comp picks from Williams and Sweat leaving, sticking to trading late round picks and adding FAs cut from other teams that don't count against com picks - doesn't have much money to spend in any case.

Keep it rolling, let's see if we can get to $1,000... hell, let's shoot for $10,000! lol

More that Andy coached them to a SB where fundamental flaws were exposed, basically lack of quality line play other than Carter, Thune out of position.

Eagles dominated both lines, not much a HC can do in that case.

A name to add to your list at DT is Shemar Turner from Texas A&M. Good in both pass and rush defense. Can collapse the pocket and get consistent interior pressure. He was the other Shemar in the Shemar X2 duo at A&M (Shemar Stewart).

Shemar Turner- 2 sacks 

Shemar Stewart- 1.5 sacks

Nick Scourton- 5 sacks

 

Something fishy about these perfect looking prospects with oddly minimal production. All of that dominating size and athleticism on the same defensive line, and no one can break free to get to the QB? Is it a DL that plays like Georgia that limits pass rusher production?

Is there any coverage from the drone that was right in front of Jalen's face for his speech? That along with the terrible off-timed censoring was so distracting. 

 

I guess the NFLN doesn't want me to do anything today. Ravens game, WC game, Divisional is on now.

I recorded multiple channels, I've only watched the NBCS Philly broadcast so far though. I'm sure the others did it too, but I'll see if the others were so bad at it.

That's terrible! I am so sorry to hear that.

Thankfully for me, it is only in one ear, but F it is so annoying. At night, I have to sleep with headphones in my ears just so I can fall asleep and not annoy my wife more than I usually do.

Ever since I got COVID, I've had tinnitus every single day and awful migraines that are just brutal whenever I read. Hopefully it goes away one day. I did have a stretch in 2024 where I felt like 98% for 2 months, but it came roaring back again. Doctors think COVID screwed with my central nervous system.
