He reminds me of McMahon to be honest. I really liked McMahon as a Center prospect.

You have to wonder if there are long term concerns over Jurgens back.

I suspect Jurgens gets an extension but if not then I’d wonder. As it stands I wouldn’t read too much into every formal interview.

I was expecting Commies to make a bigger splash. Though I guess there's still time

I certainly hope not. I'd think he has a round 3 grade which is rich for our situation unless Cam is damaged.

Some players are just stone cold losers. Deebo is one of those players.

He was invisible in 2 Super Bowls as a #1 WR.

His mouth is 10x bigger than his game.

Also, he did not lose a step as much as he never had that step. He had 1 good year in his 3rd season. He is nothing special in the other 5 years.

He did well at the senior bowl, very eagles.

When a fat guy jumps into the pool... it makes a big splash.

Or... the plan is to move him back to guard... and move on from Becton...

Or... just due diligence.

I'm not sure how much of Deebo's contract transfers to Washington or if he needs a new deal, but if they want to pay him when half their starters are FA, more power to them.

He's on the small side for Stouts preference at G. But yeah, he's just a good player. Due diligence

You never know who can fall on draft day either.  So, you investigate... and be ready.

I've been leading the charge for this one.

I was able to read it. I think they track views and might limit the number of articles viewed by one person within a certain time. Beyond that I don't know. The writer is guessing the Eagles might view him as a Rt. Guard to Rt. Tackle when Lane retires. Like some speculate about Becton and he sounds kind of like Becton, moves very well for his size.

At what price?

I have no idea what his value is going to be. He's 30 and there are younger LB across the league. His value to the Eagles is probably more than other teams, but you never know what team might overpay for playoff performances.

Just a shot in the dark. 2-year $5.5 million?

Tbh i didn’t think they were gonna extend both (especially when smoke came out that both Deebo and aiyuk were being shopped) I thought it was an either or situation and trade the other. They managed to sign both and feels like they regret both contracts. Imo they should’ve traded one of the two and kept the other. Frankly they would’ve gotten more for than just a 5th if they dealt deebo before giving him his extension or aiyuk last offseason

Deebo plays too physical a style and his body is worn down.  He doesn’t even want to be used as a ball carrier anymore.

Aiyuk has just always been very, very overrated.

I loved the burks signing last offseason. I thought he’d be an upgrade over what we had in 2023. I’m hoping he’s back. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is just cause he’s gonna start for at least 1-2 months with Dean out.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if the eagles get Dean to an extension now at a lower price coming off the injury and he gets some security

F Deebo Samuel.

The 49ers should trade Aiyuk and Purdy then bring in Rodgers' traveling conspiracy theories and drugs carnival.

They won't win anything but the pointing and laughing would be fun.

Same.  Would have thought he was around 27 years old.

How freaking old was he when he came out? DK is 27 and came out that same year.

24...  it seems.

Very interesting. He seems to be a pure center, not really seeing the fit initially.

Gates is not the answer. Didn’t you watch the CCG? We had two guys playing on one leg each because they couldn’t trust their backup center. And both of them are having off-season surgery.

How is he not a fit?

Depth is always important to have.  And... who knows if they can trust Jurgens back long term.  Those are tricky.

I am curious if they think that they can train Keegan to be a center as well, or just a guard.

What i find funny about this is both Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk had a bunch of smoke that the niners weren’t keen on keeping both and giving both an extension. And then both of them got contract extension after trying to trade both. then like a year after getting deebo’s extension, they already wanted to get rid of Deebo.

And they are about to make things much much worse by extending Purdy for $50 million per year.
