I will bet good money they do not take a safety

All depends. 31 degrees of freedom before we pick so could bet against almost any position in reality

if Dejawn is hurt do we have anyone capable of playing his role? Im not giving cj an extension.

apparently Starks on field workout was excellent.

It is interesting that the Eagles are meeting with a lot of OL in this draft because Howie has a knack for going away from the strengths of drafts. His logic has always been if you're picking late, it's better to take the best or second best at another position than the 7th best at the position of strength.

Quinyon in an OL heavy draft.

Dillard in a DL heavy draft.

Some loaded RB classes where they passed on RB and went elsewhere.

I wonder if Howie will try to get a top 3 tackle or top IOL in this class instead of a DL that will be like 6th or 7th on their board at DL. I'd hope not. They really need DL especially if both Sweat and Milton leave and I think this class is deep enough, plus the OL draft isn't nearly as good as last year. Would be kind of annoying to not get one last year and then take one this year.

I’ll be surprised if the pick isn’t DL if it’s get kept. I do think a trade down is likely

Seems accurate

DL and DT is so deep and they might like the consensus 8th guy as their 4th best guy. I could see a trade from 32 to 39 or so to get a QB with that 5th year option for a needy team and they still get the guy they want early in the 2nd. I don't think this is a trade the 1 for a next year's 1 and a 4th situation but Howie does love those.

Comical that Daniel Jeremiah mocked a safety to eagles at 32. That’s not remotely happening

Either starks or the freak would be awfully tempting.

Reed is coming up to the end of his contract and CJs isn't really long term either.

Only on a punt. Hardly that important

I'd argue it's very important. He's one of the first guys down there who will dictate where the PR goes. If that guy is a liability, you'd see bigger returns.

Heard Gronk might want to come out of retirement.  He'd be the perfect TE to add along with Goedert and Calcaterra.

The only report I saw made it sound like he wanted to play for Denver.

That can’t be real, right?  Who is "liable” for posing draft trade rumors?  Would the Jets or Giants even have a QB who’d be upset by this story?

Heard that it was not correct. I can't prove where I saw that but I thought I did.  And besides, who cares.  Guy has likely been out too long.

If you can't do the absolute minimum and see if Gronk had already responded to nothing short of a lie with a 100% ironclad denial  then I don't know what to say. Gronk playing next year has the same chance as Urlacher or Randall Cunningham.

From Devin Jackson on BlueSky

I've heard the Eagles will likely draft a O-lineman on Day 2, and names I'm hearing is Anthony Belton, Charles Grant, and Jonah Savaiinaea are three targets for them.

I love me some Savaiianea. Position versatile and he can run. Might take Stout a little time, like with Seumalo.

Jared Wilson with the fastest 40 out of the o-linemen today

Well Will Campbell won me over with his interview, very cool and well spoken young man, with a Louisiana accent to top it off.

I think Chargers, Broncos, Colts, Panthers, Texans, Patriots, Steelers will be involved here. Commies should've just got him than Samuel, Adams is a better player even at his age.

Nobody is trading for that contract.

Jets should make him stay instead of letting him keep playing grab ass with his bf.

Nope, he'll probably be cut unless someone gets desperate.

He's perfect here.  No way anyone will ever spell his name right.

He'd be lost without his daily Rodgering.

Looks like Howie isn't gonna pay Becton.
