Whether you agree or disagree with the Barkley move. The one thing we can all agree on is the dick is thick.

You fn fogtag. Hanging out with @olsilverhair too much?

Becton is replaceable. Baun is not. No guarantee Becton has success elsewhere without Stout. He might take less money

And he sat waiting for a deal, got fined, and it didn't work out for him. Meanwhile the GM that let him go put together the #1 defense in the NFL and won a championship. So I'm not worried if CJGJ will be upset that Barkley got some more money.

CJGJ was just an example, as was Haason Reddick.

I'm not saying there is something to worry about. All I'm saying is once the door is open, its open to any future scenarios.

Players and agents care about their money. If they feel they are underpaid they will address it with Howie. They aren't going to sit back and factor in stuff like "well I wasn't an MVP finalist. I didn't have a historical year. I didn't set any records" etc. They are simply going to say "I want a new deal".

Fine with me he’s literally the best player in the NFL

Patriots fans and media won't give up the delusion.

Rapsheet points out they did this last year with AJ Brown before the draft even though he had several years left on his contract at that time.

I'm sorry, I gave you way too much credit. I thought you meant Hurts would be bad on a random bad team.

You played the classic put Hurts on a 15-1 Chiefs team where he can add a turbocharger to the run game and he would be bad.

Goodbye now. Enjoy thinking things like that. I hope it works for you.

Once again you're ignoring what it is I'm actually saying, but that's not really a surprise when multiple people have tried to explain it to you

Back on ignore you go. Have fun using straw man arguments and incoherent, unrelated ramblings.

Sure everyone wants to get paid. Not everyone does. Howie has a history of taking care of his players, extending them, giving them bonuses, etc. Players want to come here, players sign extensions to stay here even if they could get more money elsewhere.

They extended AJ Brown last year a couple years early. Which players complained and said they wanted more money?

Thanks, I was seeing headlines about this and did not know where it was coming from.

The Hurts and AJ thing is real. Hurts was at his first (not drafted) and 2nd round draft (finally got picked)

Whatever they had this year was brothers getting heated, not TO vs McNabb at daycare.

Even if Booker was there, I wouldn't want him. Ponderous.

Fair enough. I haven’t really watched the guards from this class.

Its like 4 to 7 of you. The delusions of grandeur where you think you are right about everything is some truly goofy stuff.

Use ignore. I will be fine without 4 people who think Mahomes is a god and 3 others that can't read.

One of you has been on my ignore for years. I only see his blather because he gets quoted a bunch. I don't miss his venom.

Oh one of us is using memes and gifs disparagingly. Only one of us is referencing other people’s points as "blather” and "grandeur” when you’re doing the same thing. We’re "delusional” because we think we’re right, but you’re proper because you think you’re right.

What do you think anyone who doesn’t have a stake in this conversation is thinking about how it is unfolding? Thats all I’m saying; you are who you present yourself as, regardless of the point you’re making.

"DUH!” "POOR BABY” "inspidous poo flinging”.  Think about it

AJ isn't going anywhere

See above.  Have a little faith.  He's a unicorn.

There's no correlation between what he's capable of doing on the field right now at 28 and when/how/what his decline will look like...which is unknowable, despite whomever may want to argue to the contrary.

Bell, Westbrook, Chris Johnson, Terrell Davis, Jamal Lewis, Shaun Alexander...studs who lost it fast at that age.

AP, Chris Henry...kept it going.

Just because Barkley may be better at his peak than any of them doesn't mean his decline will be more favorable.

The argument that the Eagles had a more talented roster? They very clearly do.

If you're so excited about their roster, maybe head to the Chiefs message board.

I thought the Eagles had the better team and could beat anyone in the NFL if they played their A game on both sides of the ball, from A-Z.

That said, the Chiefs won 17 games this past season.  I'm not sure what would happen if you put Hurts on the Chiefs this past Super Bowl.  I know (with enough practice/familiarity) with an offense,, Hurts has been a proven winner.

Mahomes is one of the best (if not the best) QB's in the NFL

That said - I'm not sure how folks didn't take note (because people have meltdowns here every time Hurts does it) - Mahomes wouldn't even give himself 2 seconds in the pocket during the Super Bowl  As soon as he saw any type of pressure, he would immediately run outside the pocket.  (A maligned offensive line didn't help the situation either).

That said,  the thing about having as much elite talent as Mahomes has and having the ability to make spectacular, out of the pockets plays on any given play - with 3 Super Bowl titles - well, you're going to continue to play hero ball if that's what works for you.  It has gotten to the extent that a large amount of Mahomes' passing plays are designed for him to run outside of the pocket.  Any Reid has tweaked the offense and adapted it to what Mahomes feels most comfortable with.

The problem is - when you run into a defense like ours, in the Super Bowl - there are only so many adjustments you can make.   If the majority of your passing plays, offensive line blocking schemes, etc has Mahomes running out of the pokcet on passing plays, it's very difficult to immediately go back to running primarily drop back, in the pocket,  passing plays.

So knowing that and knowing the type of QB Hurts is - I have have no hesitation in saying Hurts would have done fine - especially after winning 17 games and with a coach like Andy Reid who would have adapted the offense to Hurts' strengths - the same way he has done for Mahomes.

I can only hope that the Hurts naysayers will one day understand what Jalen Hurts brings to the table as the Philadelphia Eagles QB - 100% clutch, ice in his veins, throws an elite deep ball, can make every throw, hits first down runs every game, elite at short yardage.QB sneaks, WINS more games than any other NFL QB (tied or 1 off from Mahomes) since he's been a starter - 2 Super Bowl Appearances and an SUPER BOWL CHAMPION - all in his first five years. .

Tbh his contract alone makes it really unlikely. Add on just gave him an extension last offseason.

Bro was gaslighting me and throwing poo like Hurts would suck on the 2024 Chiefs.

People (just a few) were jumping in with easily destroyed straw men.

He was 100 out of 100 wrong on everything.

He started calling me names.

If my memes after that hurt your feelings. Use the ignore. We will all be fine without you seeing me.

There's a few. That idiot Cowherd said some dumb sheet last week how the Eagles should trade him

You've made your points, no one agrees with you and you're just punching air to find something to fight. Go to RnR to argue pointlessly.
