I am now counting Slay, Sweat, Becton and Williams as former Eagles in my mind. The market just has too much cap space (with starving franchises like Pats, Bears and Commanders looking to poach and set the tone) for Eagles to sign them. If we can walk away with Baun, Burks, Rodgers and F. Johnson it will ease the blow. I'm going to have faith that Howie holds another masterclass in the draft and finds a couple low cost gems in free agency like last year. Though willing to scrap all of that for a Baun/Becton or Baun/Williams tandem. But got to keep it real.

You're finally coming around.  It's just the way it is. Once decent to good players make the open market. They get overpaid.

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

Lots of WR's out there

Well, I have been saying all along that Becton is getting paid and Williams at 3/63 or 4/84. I'm willing to pay either of them at certain numbers, but realize there will be a bidding war that may take us out. So got to be realistic. Looking like keeping Baun is the likeliest outcome out of the BIG 4. Also, can see Sweat because of his dead cap hit and saving cap space by extending him. But like Arizona getting him with Gannon. I do think Williams is worth 4/84 all day long with this crazy DT market. Especially after Osa in Dallas signing for 4/80. Carter may get double that number, which would make Williams's numbers look like a bargain later.

Patriots, Raiders, Panthers, Bills, Broncos, Chargers

Glad Redskins went Deebo instead of Metcalf.

Guessing he ends up in KC or with the Chargers.

And the moron Commanders gave up a 5th for an over the hill and out of shape Deebo, and now they have to pay him $17 million for one year.

Could go to Pete Carroll too. Last thin Brady will want is to draft a QB with no wideouts

They have enough $$ to go get Metcalf as well.

It's the Josh Harris effect. Star hunting for washed up people and shooting your load too early. 😅  Always appreciate Howie in how he reads the room and attacks.

But the bird emoji!!!

Keep those numbers in mind because a trade for Myles Garrett would be more than that on a new deal

Fascinated in how Howie handles Jordan Davis and Dallas Goedert. Those are 2 wildcards on how we go about our offseason.

Myles Garrett is not happening for many reasons. But let the Commanders overpay. Looking forward to it. Josh Sweat is getting paid more than we think too now.

Keep them in mind for Dallas having to pay Micah. Jerry screws himself again by being cheap and waiting to pay.

Garrett will get 37-40m

Maxx Crosby is such a liar lol. He said all he cared about is winning.

Can anyone remember a game where TWO edges tore their triceps in the same game and neither one came out... or said anything about it post-game?  🤔

I can. It happened about three weeks ago. The Eagles won. We all had fun.

Difference is Garrett is looking for a contender to get rings

Raiders are pirates.   Pirates have parrots.  Parrots are birds.   Ergo, bird emoji.

Kempski predicts the Eagles will win 3 fewer games and not win the NFC East.

Waste of the rest of his career

This is the single-season RB touches leaderboard. The chart doesn’t include playoff touches, so you don’t see Barkley on it. Barkley had something like 470-480. He’d be the oldest player on this list, and his game is predicated by elite athleticism. That’s a concern. People can discount it by saying a lot of his yards came on untouched long runs. That’s not the issue. It’s total touches.

You are applying single variant logic to a multi variant situation.

To start with you shouldn’t use touches, but rather hits. Look at the video of some of Saquon’s blitz pickup blocks.  They are more violent than most of his tackles.

Also your point about playoffs touches is a good one, but it doesn’t only apply to Saquon.  It applies to all the RBs on the list.  If you count Playoff touches/hits for one you count it for all.

Finally, the number of touches/hits per game needs to be considered.

There are other variants, but just those few make my point.

What's the difference? He can say whatever he wants, he's not going to take less.
