The dead money hits in 2029 and 2030...oh man. Now, Jalen is almost $100mm in 2029, and he probably gets extended and the can is kicked. But there's a ton of others.

The window is now through 2028.

who f'ing cares!  RIDE THIS MOTHERF'ER OUT!!   2 Super Bowls in 7 years when I hadn't seen any in like my first 30 plus years as a fan....Yeah...I'm good!  Get 1 or 2 more and not only can I die a happy man, I'd have a chubby! lmao

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

Yep, this run is worth 2-3 years of cap hell.

Interesting. What's the price tag to bring him back?

Hmmm... they are looking for a replacement, whose name is spelled very similarly.

Starts with H... U... and then a double consonant.   🤔.  Does anyone know anyone with a name like that?

Hurtt?

Yeah but they will reload before then anyway. I remember thinking we were stuck with Wentz forever and then poof whole new team.

Doubt they will ever be in Cap hell with Howie around. The cap just goes up and up anyway. By the time a couple seasons go by most of these contracts will look like bargains.

Maybe...  🤔

Its a walking on thin ice proposition. The cap always goes up short of pandemics so there is room to grow. We definitely want to limit the Huff type of signings. FWIW I am not 100% out on Huff. Sometimes it takes edge rushers a year to bloom in Philly. His 2024 was dreadful, no doubt.

E G L L E S? double L?

There isn't anyone better than Howie in quickly retooling. He will keep kicking that can til the late 2030s. 😅 Cap space will be a gazillion dollars by then. So far he's played this perfectly in rebuilding the Eagles. I am really hoping he plays the long game and accumulates more picks here in this upcoming draft and with next year having the extra compensatory picks. We still have depth to fill in after free agency and room for several draft picks. Howie has to stay ahead of the curve in keeping the cupboard full, while drafting in the late 20's & early 30's in the coming years and losing a couple key free agents every year.

Yeah for sure. Missing on a guy completely hurts (if that’s the case. I agree Huff still has a shot to be good) but I think that’s different than the money for the position. If Huff was really good like Baun appears to be his contract wouldn’t look bad. It’s the fact that he didn’t produce that makes it look bad.

Still my dream pick.

You're just playing all the nostalgia hits wanting a Graham from Michigan who wears 55.

By 2029 we'll probably be all dead from a disease people decided not to get vaccinated for anyway

Curious what Browning's market will be. Disappointed as a Cardinal, has a connection to Fangio. I expect it would be too rich for a LB3 guy to fill in until Dean comes back and they'd just keep Burks for cheap, but who knows. He was mainly on my list of guys to watch in case Baun left.

I can see a scenerio (not likely i admit) where he end up being cheaper than Burks who gets paid more than expected coming off strong playoff play, and we make this pivot. LB3 role is really LB2 (if he beats out Trotter) for us for at least the first half of the season

Yeah, in my opinion he’s the best prospect in the class all things considered: floor, ceiling, NFL ready, etc.

Some lady tried to convince me to buy a chicken the other day to make my own eggs and avoid bird flu. I’m like you realize bird flu is spread by birds right? Am I supposed to kill every bird in my neighborhood first?

Idiocracy is upon us.

Jalen Mills and CJGJ would be pure entertainment. Eagles could use some safety depth. Prefer it to be a young guy like Cine though.
