-Figure out the Goedert situation

-Re-sign Rodgers

-Sign Hargrave or Jones (won't count against comp picks)

-Sign an edge rusher to a reasonable short term deal

If they are able to bring back Becton while doing all of this, cool. If not, also cool. Head into the draft and continue to monitor the FA and trade market post draft.

I actually don’t think a repeat is unlikely. With an all time talent at RB and an all time line I don’t see why it wouldn’t continue. Both are returning.

Simple answer would be they just made him the highest paid RB in NFL history and are expecting him to be here for the next few years. You think they are giving him the same workload? 

I’m not saying he won’t have another great year. Just probably one where he doesn’t break 4 franchise records and 2 NFL records and become the first player in history to ever have two 2k yard years ever, let alone back to back.

Well... the Eagles were the first franchise to ever have a 2 time 1000 yard single season rusher.   So, the unprecedented happening here is precedented!   

 

But, if he's going to break 2k again, he's going to need more than the 7 60+ yard runs... he'll likely need about 8 70+ yard runs, maybe even 10!   How many times are the Eagles playing the Rams and Giants next year?

I'm going to add another priority for this off season. A true RB who can spell Barkley. Not a third down back or game is out of hand back but a we are playing one that can keep the sticks moving, no breakaway speed necessary, something very much like Gibbs and Montgomery. Who is the Montgomery for the Birds? Wanna have 3 years of Barkley with spring in his legs.

The draft is where to find this. Might be the single deepest class of my lifetime, and it’s heavy on bigger 3 down backs. There are going to be a lot of starting quality RBs drafted outside the top 100.
