Why i said supposedly but i tend to think it is bs they that they dont. Imo from the combine on, they are talking. It’s just no one busts or reports anyone for it cause everyone does it.

I like him. My guy remains Tuten. I don’t expect the eagles to target Tuten, but he’d be perfect. Just need to coach him on ball security. Perfect backup for Barkley in my opinion, though I’m guessing someone will fall in love with his speed and draft him on the second day.

Under.  At least of names I would, or even should, recognize.  I suppose they may grab some depth guy that pushes it over, but I really think one maybe two FA signings from other teams, at most.

It’s a very interesting situation.. I tend to think they skirt around the rules by being very vague and not using player names and such… but on the other hand you have teams getting penalized or investigated for tampering like the Falcons and us last year… doesn’t make sense.

Andrew Brandt said he knew teams straight up broke the rules. He said at the combine he’d meet with agents and in a way to maintain some form of integrity, he’d run his finger down a printout of an agent’s roster and say things like (I’m paraphrasing) "we could use a young safety and we’d be willing to pay him X years for X dollars with X guaranteed.

I don't think Jalen's that type of guy. He'll be like:

I feel this way even if I don't necessarily disagree with the take, but I think if anything, it'll make Jalen's type better, not worse.

FA signings by year (not the most thorough or comprehensive research):

2024 — 13

2023 — Something like 6-8 if you want to count camp additions like Cunningham and Jack.

2022 — 5, but two of them were Devon Allen and Renell Wren. Those were before the NFL Draft, but I’m too lazy to look up afterward  

2021 — 6

2020 — 4

Nothing. Same as it used to be. As has been mentioned, most everyone likely does it, but it’s so hard to prove, short of leaving an electronic trail, or having a direct party openly admit to communications. I don’t know what Cousins said last year, but he alluded to communications, whereas the reports that we tampered with Barkley came from a non-direct party. They got hit and we didn’t.

I believe the eagles got investigated cause James Franklin said something publicly that he shouldn’t have. Based on reading and listening to florio on the falcons, they got busted for having direct contact with 3 players and discussing the logistical matter.  if they would’ve just gone directly to their agent/representative and not to the player nothing would’ve happened. Additionally according to florio breaking it down on YouTube, the reason the Falcons got busted was because cousins at his introductory press conference stated he had been talking to the falcons representatives (and Kyle Pitts) directly during the two day window (also weeks prior too) then they asked him to help in the recruiting of Darnell Mooney for the organization. My guess nothing would’ve happened if cousins and James Franklin kept their mouths shut and didn’t make it public.
