I just think there's going to be some silly spending out there. So the bargains will be hard to find. Will have to wait til the 2nd and 3rd wave. That's where Howie is pretty good. But do think Howie does sign (that doesn't affect compensation formula) or trade for a pretty high profile vet free agent, if Sweat or Williams are in fact gone. I don't think he's going cheap there with just draft picks coming in and minimum salary vets.

Yeah he said patience will be key.  One of the guys will not get what he wants and be there. Of course that has to be the guy who still has a good year left which is threading a needle but he's had good success there (with misses of course)

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

I just find it hysterical that Josh Harris is their savoir that will improve culture and help the team win. Josh Harris...

I know Dan Snyder is in the HOF of terrible owners, but it's like they went from full blown AIDS to just having HIV. It's still not a good thing.

Cleveland rocks!

Have him give Nico Harrison a call. Then we should be able to get him for a conditional 2026 6th round pick.

He wasn’t good this past year.

Tbh Daniels if he continues on this trajectory can make up for a lot. Might never win a SB but he alone has them in a better spot then where they have been

I think everyone should get on board and doubt anything Jordan Shultz says just so he will punch Ian Rapoport in the face

There really is starting to be a glut of defensive lineman available, so letting the market shake out and going bargain hunting later could work nicely. I'd expect guys like Milton to get signed fast (young, good advanced metrics) while some of these older guys sit and get very little interest. And the whole edge rusher market will be paralyzed until there is resolution on Garrett and Hendrickson I bet.

Calais Campbell and Khalil Mack -- 2 vets that might want to ring chase and would fit well here.

Little smaller at OG than what Stout likes

Mack is probably going back to Chargers with Bosa release and will not be anything near cheap either way.

The FA I'm most interested to see how it shakes out?

Haason Reddick

I'm not sure any player has ever done more to hurt his earnings potential than Reddick. Probably no way we bring him back, but...screams 1 year prove it deal.

I think locker room issues were associated with him

I’m here for it

I wanna say Zach Berman (listen to too many podcast recently but believe it was him) kind of alluded to it the other day when he was brought up. So I have a feeling the locker room stuff they wouldn’t want him back.

I know the rumor was he was stat chasing in 2023, but we heard that about Sweat too and they brought him back. His teammates did seem to like him.

I'm just saying, 1 year, $5mm deal...I'd have to think about it.

Yeah. He had nice things to say about playing in Philly, and the fans were wishing him well and then that. It's not a big deal in the scheme of things, but makes an unnecessary negative reaction like why did you have to say that. Just weird vibe.

I didn't like how he handled the end of last season.  It was a very me first attitude.  He was talking about his personal stats while the team crashed and burned.  Not a good look from a 'leader'.

Nothing he said really bothers me this offseason, but it doesn't surprise me either.  He was asked about leadership and talked glowingly about Blankenship.  Nothing negative there, except the omission of CJGJ.  But, Slay doesn't have to mention him.   CJGJ certainly could have handled it better (his reaction sort of illustrated why he's not a leader in the eyes of some).   And his Hurts omission is no different than a lot of other people inside and outside the league are saying.  Hurts isn't viewed as a top 4 QB by many people.  But, who cares?  He doesn't have to be for this team to win.  As I pointed out, Bob Griese wasn't either back in the day... but his 3 consecutive Super Bowl appearances, back to back Super Bowl victories and undefeated season likely taste no less sweet.   That said, Slay is smart enough to know that omitting names in situations like that can stir the pot.   Ultimately, I'm ready to turn the page from him.  Time to get younger and cheaper at CB.

Under the radar player I’d like to have back is Fred Johnson. I think he’s a pretty good backup tackle.

If the price is right, absolutely.  But, he's no spring chicken himself.  This team still desperately need a succession plan for Lane Johnson at RT.  Right now, I don't see anyone in the pipeline.

Just saw this so he’s not being released and inside the division trade

I'd be shocked if Reddick didn't sign with Arizona. They're gonna spend like mad and Gannon's there obviously.

Gannon is going to land alot of Ex-Eagles this offseason for the defense.

They finally dealt Laughton. About time

Danny is busy today.

Eagles blueprint: build the lines.

The entire NFL: releasing their linemen.

I know it's age, cap savings, etc. and they're looking at the draft. It's just funny seeing so many linemen get released.

The Chiefs AFC competition should be loading up their lines.

Jim Irsay builds the lines.

Then snorts them.

If that comes true, the Toronto fans are going to hate Scott Laughton.  Not as much as they hated Phil Kessel or Larry Murphy, but Laughton has never developed into a top 6 caliber forward and the Flyers were trying to make believe he was one.

That's a late first round pick -- but for Laughton -- that's stealing.
