I think Eagles will focus on keeping their own and sniff around the edge market and depth LB market. Other than that I don't think it'll be super active either and I'm fine with that.

There are several Day 3 or late Round 3 LBs who could be of interest.  Jeffrey Bassa from Oregon is one

For such an important position of backup QB I think you have to stick with clearly the better backup.  Not to mention he's both cheaper and signed longer.  Only case where you consider otherwise is if some team is willing to give a first for him which they won't.  Top of the 2nd round?  idk, maybe but I think even then I still stick with McKee.

I definitely prefer trading Pickett, but a trade of McKee for a good 2nd Round pick  would put Howie in a position to take a QB in Day 3 of the Draft.

Hopefully it's just a Rooney Rule requirement rather than stealing our precious Christian Parker

Yeah I want the best for Parker but selfishly would like him to stay

Egbuka would be insane value at 32 and push smith and wilson right off the roster. Which is where they belong

I really do NOT want to a WR in the 1st two rounds.  BPA is fine but I sure hope it isn't a WR.  Give me DL, LB, or a TE.

Egbuka would be nice BPA selection… wouldn’t make a ton sense now but would be a nice guy to have up our sleeve in 2-3 years.

He’ll be a good slot receiver, but I don’t actually see the value for the Eagles.

We don’t throw the slot receiver the ball hardly at all and he’s not a guy who could easily switch to playing on the boundary in case of injury.

I just don’t see the ROI for a first round pick.

Yep, this was my biggest worry of a staff member to lose when Moore got hired.

Yeah Hurts is the future if you could get a 2nd rd pick for McKee you do it.  Honestly I think that's probably too much to ask for despite the love here. He's never even played an nfl game against a team that wasn't the Giants in week 18

The Eagles have Dotson, Wilson & Smith.  I don't see them spending any resources on WR this offseason at all

5yrs is a long time, also the roster is so strong now because the FO has managed to string together an unprecedented number of hits in the draft. Just thinking about keeping that streak going…

Depends how the draft falls. If Mykel Williams is there as some suggest, I'm running to the podium.

I love Jack Sawyer at 32 and JT Tuimoloau later in the 2nd.

Mike Green has killer explosiveness but might be moving up the 1st, but there are some character concerns that may drop him.

Shemar Stewart seems like he'd be interchangeable with Moro Ojomo moving across the line more than a DE.

A guy that I don't know about is James Pearce. He reminds me of Ricky Sapp. I think he's a reach.

If Stewart is there I am running up ahead of you even with Williams as a last name.  Stewart gives us Brandon Graham / Fletchers Cox flexibility.

One of the most important conversations now. Is Nolan Smith married to #3 or can DeJean offer enough for him to give it up? I like DeJean in #33 but hate Smith in #3. If Slay is gone, I could see Smith taking #2, assuming he wants to stay in a single digit and DeJean could have #3.

Potential new available numbers based on UFA and tradeable players and cuts (Pickett/McKee/Huff). I also think 9 should be available now since the Eagles have 2 SB. Nick was great, but it's time to put it back in the rotation. I'd also assume 55 is retired unfortunately. I also think Braden Mann needs to take one for the team and wear 37 or 39 since punters don't have strict number rules anymore.

0, 2, 7, 9 , 13, 14, 16 18, 19, 24, 29, 34, 42, 53, 77, 80, 93

-No way Jahan Dotson stays in 83. He's taking whatever single digit he can. Let's assume Pickett is traded. Dotson takes 7.

-BVS has already said he will change his number to a pass catching eligible number, it was just too late last year. Would make sense for him to take 42 (college number) if Burks is gone.

-Johnny Wilson is taking 14 (college number) if Gainwell leaves in FA. I like him in 89 however. We need WR in WR numbers and as a huge WR, 89 fits him well.

-Lewis Cine is grabbing a single digit or 24. I think he's going to surprise and make an impact next year.

YEP, I'm a nerd.

I don’t see a scenario with his new found celebrity and household name status where DeJean is going to change his number.

No thanks on Sawyer or Tuimoloau.  Yes on Williams and Stewart.

Would Gruden come back as an OC or is he a HC only?

The game passed by Gruden 25 years ago, he managed a SB on a stacked team in a rigged game and then systematically destroyed the team with his inability to understand how to run things.  Did the same destruction in every stop after.

I wonder who we will get as QB coach assuming Patullo is the guy. Could see Leftwich or Pep Hamilton.  Not sure of ties to Sirriani

I don't see any splashes in FA this year. Maybe you get a vet who wants to ring chase that won't command too high a price.

Usually this is the kind of sentence that someone writes every year and it's just wrong because we got Roseman who somehow then makes at least one splash.

I usually make fun of it every year.

But this year you might actually be right just because we need so much money to extend contracts in the future.

That job, is probably the least attractive job in the league given the cap situation that team is stuck in for a few years.  I have a feeling Moore is going to be scraping the bottom of the hopeful barrel with some huge jump type hires to fill his staff.

They'll sign someone we like at some point but it won't be a huge contract

Nussmeier is going to be his OC and Staley his DC

So, no Parsons nor Garrett? Damn.

Staley likely has a wider network of guys to fill out staff, Nuss follows along and might get a chance to draft his boy next year.

I think they have most of the O staff filled out already besides OC.  Agree about kid but that probably would be bad to coach kid in pros

Staley, defensive staff… who knows how these coaches think, but Nuss Jr. is certainly in the mix objectively.
