Yeah he has lost a good step or two or three. Likely trading Cooper Kupp only to give Adams two years at 23 million per is laughably bad.

Wilson and Rodgers at least have a ring

What good is that for the team they play for in the year of lord 2025?

I can’t find it but the second year salary of 20 mil didn’t look like it was guaranteed. The rest of the money was in signing bonus and year 1 salary and a small bonus in year 2 so they can likely get out of it in a year

Seems like signing bonus, 1st year base and the 2nd year roster are the guarantees.

Feels like at worst it’s a 1 year $26M deal they can spread across 3 years if they want to

I think there's a good chance the way last season played out could've mentally broken Huff. He got benched and was forced to watch his backup rise to the occasion and help the team win a super bowl in his absence. Could basically be a repeat of Wentz where he is never able to shake that and return to form.

That is certainly one possible scenario.

Sad part is Huff never had a form! Basically his stats from last year match most of his career!!

Yep they bet on trajectory and it was one of the few wrong bets

Is Dallas Goedart the most over rated, mid tier TE in football?

He’s a top 10 talent but has issues staying healthy. Still is like to see him stay.

Kupp is completely washed. It's a big upgrade for the Rams.

Great, so they trade in one old, overpaid, washed up WR, for another old, overpaid, slightly less washed WR. It's a stupid move, and so is paying Tutu Atwell 10 million to be their 3rd or 4th WR. Everyone loves to glaze the FN Rams though.

The rest of the conference is trying, but

WR1 Brown

WR2 Smith

WR3 Dotson

still looks like the cream of the NFC crop at the position.

DeVonte Adams is substantially better than Kupp. Some very weird takes today regarding Adams in this thread that come off as desperate denail that the Rams haven't made a big improvement to their offense.  He just had 85 receptions for 1k+ yards and 8 TDs in 14 games where he was catching passes from terrible QBs Minshew and O'Connell then getting traded in season to a bad Jets team to play with a 41 yeard old Rodgers coming off a major injury.

this is an argument for picking up Jordan Davis’ 5th year option

Think it will be quiet on the Eagles front today.

Baun re-signing was Free Agency, Act 1.

I think it's going to be pretty quiet the entirety of FA.

They'll make some moves, but I don't think anything too exciting is going to happen and that's okay.

Its a PR sell for the stupid fans in their fanbase.  Nothing more.

It won’t be quiet here. Every time an Eagles player agrees elsewhere and every time a competitor signs a player the world will end a little

That would explain things. I was wondering what was going on.

pop up in the top right of my browser said no longer supported, with a button to uninstall the extension so thats what I did. Now Im surfing the web unprotected.

I thought I might switch to Opera for my browser, but thats chrome based so Im not sure if thats a solution.

Wondering if anyone knows a good ad block alternative.

I think Im going to try Opera. It looks like they have a free VPN, as well as a built in ad blocker. And supposedly will continue to support ublock (if it will even be necessary).

Just had a look at the NFL free agency tracker here https://www.nfl.com/news/2025-nfl-free-agency-tracker-latest-signings-trades-contract-info-for-all-32-teams

It really warms the heart. Teams making loads of deals, signings of players either being overpaid or who I've never heard of. The Eagles only have two players listed. Barkley and Baun. Really does feel like we're in something of a golden age. It's amazing
