He was a solid fill in. But too small for my liking as a starter. And don't want to pay him that money as a 3rd CB. Ringo and Ricks are each 6'2. Room needs another addition, but still looking solid.

His stats suggest he wouldn't even be a good WR

Have you watched him play at all in the NFL? He does not have #1 WR potential. He's a good TE, not great.

Man from a pure entertainment stand point Aaron Rodgers and George Pickens on the same team has some real potential for shenanigans. 

Isaiah Rodgers is not a good NFL starter. He is also not an awful starter. 

We are biased here from watching Dak kill White Crayon and other UPS drivers that had to play due to injuries and bad depth.

Rodgers got decent money that this Eagles team should never have matched. Good for him.

He was only here because he used a gambling app in the Indy locker room. Thank you draft kings!

I think it would make a ton more sense to do it before the league year starts and his contract voids -- an extension could push his $16.4mm of dead money into the future. I "think" his contract voids on Wednesday when the league year starts.

It was known for months they wanted Carter, who himself mentioned the Eagles interest in interviews. Howie was ready to trade up for him.

But my point was Howie planned for DT replacements. He drafted a DT 3 years in a row with Williams, Davis and Carter. Without Carter, he may have extended Williams last offseason. They have Ojomo who will increase his snaps. They managed to replace Hargrave and Cox, and they'll manage to replace Williams.

Need to start processing the possibility that they may be moving DeJean to the outside.
