You wanted to pay him that amount? Then they wouldn't be able to-- you know what enjoy your complaining.

HE LET YOUNG TALENT OUT THA DAMN BUILDING, that is my only point. I don't want to read again about it because it can, did and will happen. This message is for those who said it and act as if it never could happen.

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

It's crazy how much money is out there for bad GMs to screw the market for everyone going forward. It's not sustainable for teams who want to win.

Yes. Howie signing Zach Baun last week at $17M feels like an absolute bargain!

26 million for Milton Williams is insane. Not sure I would be ok with the Eagles giving him that contract even IF they had a ton of cap space.

Letting Rodgers walk for the contract he got with the Vikings is annoying. Losing Slay and Rodgers is a massive hit to the secondary even IF Ringo ends up being really good because of the lack of depth. I'm starting to wonder if they plan to move Dejean outside and replace him in the slot which can be done much easier and cheaper than finding an outside corner.

Seattle so far is the biggest loser of the off-season BY FAR.

Carter is going to get $50 mil/yr over 5 years. Probably $175mil guaranteed

Literally no one in this fanbase can spell Becton.... what are you trying to do to people

15 years of callers saying Charlie Gardner and Michael Irving on WIP.

Thought IRJr made sense at 7.5 for 2 years. Thought that was the point of the investment through his suspension. 3/20 sounded better.

Seahawks now have Darnold, #18 pick overall and two picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

And someone said Carter won't get 34-40 in a few years.

Yep, delusion at its finest. Carter will sign an AAV in the 40s, no doubt about it.

Replacing Geno with Darnold.

I don't think copying the Jets' QB moves is a great plan.

Yeah losing Milton at that number is expected. But Rodgers contract number seemed reasonable, almost less than I expected him to get. I’m surprised Howie couldn’t, or just didn’t, get him at that number.

I think Eagles have a plan at CB. It’s not just Ringo. They are down 2 players right now so need a body at a minimum

Weren't you also pounding the table insisting Hurts would get 60+?

Who are those people? Literally everyone has known not all these free agents would be back. Howie and Lurie both said publicly in the media they're not bringing everyone back.

I have a feeling we’ll be doing what we did with JB to Slay. JB was clearly his last good year a couple seasons ago and should’ve let him walk.

Slay I think was banged up all season here and there coming out for plays etc. I think it’s time to move on from him and put money into youth.

So he kept/extended the two All-Pros on the roster, but let the rotational DT that played about half of the snaps go.  How talented do you think Williams is RELATIVE TO THE OTHER TALENT ON THE TEAM?

(See how I used CAPS like you?  But mine are bigger.)

Having Fangio gives me more confidence that after he's evaluated these guys after a year he knows what he wants, knows if other guys are ready to step up or not, and if there's anyone he is really interested in from the draft or free agency.

Seattle has a great plan. Get rid of most of your skill players and do a lateral move at QB that costs you money.

Brilliant.

They are tanking for Archie but are playing the long game.
