I was in Houston for most of his career. He is the god of penalties.

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

Tbh i think if Howie was being honest that his only mistake last offseason wasn’t getting a deal done with Williams then instead of going after huff. But it is what it is.

Could've extended him and/or Sweat. But that will never be brought up because Howie takes beer cans off the head now.

Not going back to see if someone posted this but

WAS betting the house that Deebo, Tunsel, Lattimore 2024 performances were all just coincidence.

Guys that I hope we are keeping tabs on:

DT: Dre'Mont Jones, Calais Campbell, Javon Hargrave, Larry Ogunjobi

Edge: Azeez Ojulari, Malcolm Koonce, Chase Young, DeMarcus Lawrence, Za'Darius Smith

Dre mont Jones has been playing average DE for much of the last 3 years, he isn't really a DT any more 85% of his snaps last year he lined up outside the OT's, if he was getting 4 sacks a year at DT he'd have a big market, as a DE, maybe not so much.

Have Ossai and Onwuzurike signed anywhere yet, I'd kick the tyres on those two as well, both would be solid additions to a rotation

Last year I understood going with a heavy older veteran roster for Washington. This year I felt they needed to find younger pieces to grow with Daniels long term. Between this & Deebo trade I feel Washington hasn’t made the big strides I expected them too.

They have the same owner who thought Paul George was the answer. If there's any saving grace to Josh Harris being the owner, it's seeing how bad he fudged the Sixers. Daniels can be their Embid. Now, keep messing the team up around him.

WSH is such an old team too.

He kept kicking cans down the road that the can finally stuck back

Wonder if Commanders are moving Brandon Coleman to LG or RT now

He brings position versatility and would be playing along side MUCH better players here. If Milton Williams gets sacks because of Jalen Carter. No doubt Jones could too.

Commanders are trying to go all in to win next year but won't have youth around Daniels. When it fails and the Eagles break them again they will have an old broken team.

I do look forward to more shots of Deebo crying on the sidelines.

I find it super curious the Texans oline was awful last year and stroud/offense was clearly effected by it. tunsil was the only half decent one and they dealt him.

Me too. Tunsil is still a very good player.

Well I don’t think it’s as amazing of a move for Washington like others believe, it is a terrible move by Houston. Their issues are the OL & it’s a bad OL draft, why trade away your best one?

And most importantly, the Commies still need a QB.

Tonsil, another 30+ year old player that Washington is sticking up on.

I didn't watch him, but several people on X saying he had a bad year last year.

WAS is betting on a bounce back.

Just like with Deebo and Lattimore.

Washington is better now with Deebo and Tunsil but I'm not sure semi-loading up for the present versus building with more of an eye towards the future with a young QB is the right strategy for them. They overachieved last year and won't be able to sneak up on anyone in 2025. Then again, they are also probably thinking that they have a window over the next few years before they have to give Daniels a mega contract so perhaps it is the correct strategy.

and they just lost Jeremy Chinn. Now, Luvu is the heartbeat of that defense, but Chinn is a good player.

Not much fluff in that one

I know PFF isn’t the end all be all but they agree.

I've always thought Tunsil was really good but not elite and not what he was expected to be coming out of the draft. I'm no expert on him either though.
