Id take washington at TE instead, another georgia bull dog and a great blocker, hes not the weapon goedert is in the pass game but hes not bad as a 4th 5th option over the middle.

I don’t think he was bad. He just wasn’t a pro bowl LT like in years past. It probably didn’t help everyone around him was dreadful

Yep. They either get something like a 4th round pick for him and free up a good bit of cap space, or the interest just isn't out there for him and he restructures at a lower cap hit to stay. It's a win-win situation for the Eagles.
