The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

Tunsil is older and a bad locker room guy.  Commanders are trying to win this year without building for the future.  It's a weird strategy really

Benjamin St-Juste maybe to compete with Ringo in addition to draft pick?  Can't see us spending a good amount of $$ at the position and don't think he should cost that much

Someone likes it.

Everyone loves it until he sees ghosts and plays like he did against the rams and lions the last two weeks lol

He signed with the Pats for 26 million.  Left Carolina at the altar

And seemingly got significantly more to do so.   Good for him.  NE is better than Carolina.  But still not good.

Yeah you would think Washington would try to look to get younger... They are going to put themselves in a bad spot when it comes time to pay Daniels...

Didn’t he get absolutely rinsed last 2 seasons ?

I think they win the division this year

I have them at 10-7

Who plays TE is my only concern. They have like 7 picks in the first four rounds next year.

Maybe I should be but that doesn't concern me. In games where AJ and Devonta are both healthy Goedert gets very few targets. I also think with an off-season to work with Hurts and the team Dotson could definitely be a little bit better. I feel like Goedert would be a bigger loss for his blocking than receiving and they can easily find a really good blocking TE for significantly cheaper in free agency. I would be fine with a TE by committee approach in 2025 with GC, a cheap blocking TE in free agency, and a TE drafted somewhere in the 3rd-5th round.

Their future is now.  Nonetheless,  I'm happy they are giving up picks for guys in their 30s and paying them a lot.

I know the 4th comp pick for Sweat, what’s the other 4th comp pick for?

Yes.  He isn't good.  He would be cheap for a reason.

Their comp slots are where they were first drafted.

Yeah maybe it's just me but I thought GC looked pretty solid

One thing's for sure, the Eagles are gonna have to nail this draft, just as they did the previous 4 drafts. Will have some big needs to fill and will need to do so with picks. Glad it's a deep DL draft. Please Pearce or Nolen fall to us.

Ironically exactly the round each guy was drafted in

Don’t think that it’s it. Did we have a minority coach or exec get promoted that I’m forgetting about?

I'm not sure he is a long term solution and his blocking sucks. However, if you mix and match him, a FA blocking TE, and a rookie I think they will be more than fine there and can add elsewhere with the cap savings.

I wonder who he's projecting as the 2nd 4th round comp. Becton?
