The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

If the shoe fits, I’ll gladly wear it.

Dallas players handling it well

I'm pretty sure they lived on Brady's money and she just kept stacking Joker piles from The Dark Knight.

Brady made a ton of money off the field in endorsements. 200m is the Google estimate. He even did a MNF guest spot at halftime every week for Westwood one. He did not need his wife or under the table. He also made 48 games worth of playoff money. Now add in merchandising and licensing for Madden, cards, jersey sales, and as much as he wanted from signing memorabilia.

333m from contracts

200m from endoresements

50-100 from licensing, merchandising, etc?

5-10 million from playoff games

The hot take is he had to break the law for some unreported income because he can't feed his family at 640m?

Manning had the guy who knew and talked about his HGH hunted and harassed so I'd worry about him first.

The only QB who is taking significantly less like Brady now is Mahomes. They are pushing lots of cash upfront but he makes 45m a year when lots make around 52-55 and Dak makes 60.

If I drank a beer a hole I’d never make it through the front nine.  I’m a one beer man. I would never have been a spokesperson for Schaefer.

I am going to critically summarize the pickups which doesn’t mean I don’t have faith in Howie to make more moves.

1. Green - terrible last year

2. DTR - really bad last year

3 Dillon - injured all year

4. Uche - really bad and inactive much of the year

5. Bryant - 3rd TE who caught 9 balls

6. Adore Jackson - bad last year

is that accurate?

On top of all that it costs a fortune.  If you want a real challenge take up duplicate bridge.

I prefer NL Holdem myself

To do it better. And see new courses etc. ive played Pebble and #2. Playing the ocean course  with daughter is a core memory.

Sawgrass this week is still on my bucket list

@pgcd3 Yes but useless.

2 - DTR is a low cost 3rd QB who they can investigate. Were you highly invested in Kenny Pickett?

3 - Players get injured. I'd be more worried about his ypc falling every year. Maybe he is done or maybe he is resurgent here. Its a low cost investigation for a 3rd string RB. He was a good in all 3 phases RB in the past run/catch/block.

5- caught 9 balls. The other 2 TEs had 185 targets. Why would you cherry pick that season to represent him as a player?

Dallas Goedert only caught 42 for 498 and 2 TDs last year. Is that him or do his other years count?

6 - bad last year. Did you watch all the film? Did you talk to the Giants DC and DB coach about youth movement vs talent?

PFF had Adoree' with a 69 grade which is good but not great. They had him ranked 58th and there are 96 starters if you count the slot. He is not here to start unless he goes nuts and looks like he did in 2021 and wins a competition. He is the Rodgers replacement.

A default negative opinion of him changes nothing.

Many of these guys have personal history with the Eagles through combine or senior bowl or top 30 visits. None of these moves was done to please you.

Yup, we are faced with typical backup players.  Last season's depth anomaly is now a season of awesome memories.  We still have the best overall starting defense and offense in the league, or close to it.

It’s great. #2 is the hardest golf course I’ve ever played. Pebble. Bucket

DL can be right and wrong at the same time.

Yes, the Cowboys are not winning a SB in the next 5 years.

No, the Seahawks are not winning a SB in the next 5  years either.

lmao

It’s the "if you did more winning” reply that I was talking about. Like, dude you were on the team. Maybe you should have won more too.

The Browns O-line has been an absolute mess the last 2 or 3 years with injuries.

If this Hudson III schmoe could even remotely play decent football, he would have started more than 17 games in 4 years.

My bad, I was not here for the drama so I only read the first back and forth.

Pebble is worth it. Get a caddie

While you most definitely have a point, I will NEVER hate on someone for having belief in themself.

Same at #2

If Lawrence can get someone to pay him 42m (16m guaranteed) as a 33 year old, take that bag and run!

Sacks the last 4 years

  • Josh Uche 19.5
  • Bryce Huff 18
  • DeMarcus Lawrence 16
