Aaron Rodgers making another offseason all about himself. Just make a damn decision already.

Isn't his market only really PIT or NYG?  I haven't heard other teams linked to him.

He should retire.  He was an old, brittle man last season.  I get that it takes 2 years to fully recover from an achilles, but he's 42 now?  What is "fully recovered"?

If he goes to the Steelers, he'll be the third best QB in the division, on the 3rd or 4th best team in the division.  If he goes to the Giants, it'll just be Rodgers imploding the other New York franchise, with Schoen and Daboll both fired at season's end.

I find the underlined interesting and something that may hold a lot of value with our FO considering where this team is heading with the young guys. This is Daniel Jeremiah's write up.

Starks split his time between nickelback and safety in the Bulldogs' defense. When he was in the slot, he showed quick feet with the ability to flip his hips and mirror underneath. To see him at his best, watch him carry a vertical route, stay in phase and high point a deep ball against Clemson. From off coverage, he’s aggressive to squat on routes, and he’s had wins andlosses because of it. He was caught flat-footed a few times in the games I studied. In the deep half, he takes good angles in pursuit and is a firm tackler in space. Sources at Georgia speak very highly of his character. His intelligence and leadership ability have blown NFL teams away in meetings. Overall, Starks didn’t make as many plays this past season as he did in 2023, but he has the versatility to move around the field and provide a lot of value.

I'm very in on Starks.

I'd love the other safety but after combine workouts I think he boosted his stock and may push Starks down closer to us.

Starks is versatile. And despite his average 40 time, he's really smooth, and sounds like an Eagles type of guy.

I think he will actually be an upgrade over Gardner-Johnson.

Minnesota. He's "waiting to hear if they are interested".

Aaron Rodgers isn't making the offseason about him, other people are making it about him. The guy is literally not doing anything and somehow he's still doing something wrong. People just don't like the guy so they push an agenda no matter what he does. What's wrong with taking time to make a decision.

BG is doing the same thing on his retirement and no one's calling him an attention ****.

If Rodgers wasn't a weirdo, no one would be getting on him right now for doing something that is perfectly normal and acceptable. If teams don't want to wait, then they are more than welcome to move on and sign someone else. They are not entitled to Rodgers making a decision on their timelines. People are just addicted to football news so they get antsy when there's a lull and they're taking it out on Rodgers like a drug addict who gets unnerved when they are without a fix.

Bo Wulf said from what he understands, the Eagles signed Hughlett over Lovato to save money at long snapper, not because they thought he was an upgrade.

Did Lurie take a hit on the stock market or something? Trying to position the team well cap-wise is one thing, but penny pinching at positions that are already cheap is really odd.

If Bo Wulf is indeed right on this and he may not be.

Is Rodgers doing a LeBron press conference "I'm taking my talents to the Twin Cities."

I remember ESPN turned that into an entire event.

Goedert is a damn good player. I find it hard to believe that if they keep one player their entire future plans and cap situation falls apart. Find a way to keep the guy, my god.

He's fine this every...single...year though. He's a whiny attention **** and deserves to be mocked. 🤷‍♂️

But he's not, that's a projection. He's just someone who likes to take his time. People make up the stuff about the attention. In a social media age, if he wanted attention he could go on Twitter and drop cryptic emojis or appear on broadcasts. The guy is actually the opposite. He barely speaks and when he does it's with Pat Mcafee and that's it. If Rodgers is an attention **** for barely ever speaking than what is a guy like CJGJ who's chatting it up on Twitter and chatting Eagles while streaming video games?

People just want to pile on Rodgers.

I don't blame you. I still own so many DVDs I ran out of space. Same with books, so I had to go digital.

Glad you said something because Watts has become a 2nd round guy I’d love for them to target also.

He wasn’t on Daniel Jeremiah’s recent top 50, so I wonder if you could trade up from 64 and get him. But I’d love to add him to the secondary.

That would be ideal if they could grab him closer to 64 instead of 32. I still think he goes closer to the top of RD2.

It was surprising to see Jeremiah not have him in his Top 50. Behind Starks and Emmanwori, I would put him at Safety #3 of the class. And it would not shock me to see him have the better pro career of the three.

Why do you hate winning?

So it WAS NOT just fake agent speak or fluff. That reporter whom reported we were in on him til the end was not lying or embellishing anything or getting BS from the agent. He had some real intel that's others did not. Unless we don't believe Justin Reid either...

He announced he was going on a "blackout retreat" for 2 weeks to decide on retirement before going to the Jets, putting on a huge spectacle carrying out the flag etc.  He's also on podcasts and shows etc all the time. He looks for and gets attention WAY more than the average big name FA posting those stupid 👀 emojis on their Instagram account.

Dude sucks on so many levels.

I’m not too sure where he goes. He could get pushed down if there’s a run on DL & another position group like RB similar to what happened to Q falling to us last year with run on OL & QB.

Nothing you stated to me is a reason to dislike a guy. He takes his time making decisions and decided to go on a vacation first, which many players do. Nothing remotely wrong or offensive in what he's doing. You just view the things he does through a negative light because you don't like him.

He's just an oddball is all, but he'd be way down the list of guys that suck as people as far as I'm concerned. And I know why it's the case. People don't like his social beliefs or his takes on vaccines and such. Once that happened, it was open season for Rodgers when it comes to criticism. Meanwhile Xavier Worthy is accused of beating up a relative and he won't get 1/100th the disdain that Rodgers gets for literally just walking on a beach and thinking lol.

Also want to add Dane Brugler had Watts at 46 in his last top 100, which was pre combine. Things might change after combine for him, but I noticed him and Daniel Jeremiah’s top 50 wasn’t as similar as they usually are in the past, and I’ve seen some media draft guys say that teams are all over the place in how they’re ranking players in this draft (though I feel that gets said every year, think that might be true this year)
