I still enjoy the Mission Impossible movies. The last one was good.

I saw the first one in the theaters and I think that was the last Tom Cruise movie I ever saw.

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

This is probably the last year of Jake Elliott unless he takes a pay cut next year. After 2025 he has bonuses of $5M every year. Even without the struggles of last season I'm not sure they would want to pay that to a 31 year old kicker.

100% he's getting cut or they do a new deal after 2025. This is the last year he has guaranteed money.

It’s been really nice not having to think about new kicker for that like 7-8 year stretch

Nothing you stated to me is a reason to dislike a guy. He takes his time making decisions and decided to go on a vacation first, which many players do. Nothing remotely wrong or offensive in what he's doing. You just view the things he does through a negative light because you don't like him.

He's just an oddball is all, but he'd be way down the list of guys that suck as people as far as I'm concerned. And I know why it's the case. People don't like his social beliefs or his takes on vaccines and such. Once that happened, it was open season for Rodgers when it comes to criticism. Meanwhile Xavier Worthy is accused of beating up a relative and he won't get 1/100th the disdain that Rodgers gets for literally just walking on a beach and thinking lol.

This is accurate. Though it's interesting that it's come out much later in his career. He seemed to be fine off field in his prime. Guess he just held back and now doesn't care

On one hand I like they signed a new returner (I was hoping they’d pursue Turpin but he was expensive) so we didn’t have to rely on DeJean there. On the other hand, looking up this guy on twitter Falcon fans do not like him at all

I think part of it was that people had Favre fatigue for years, so Aaron really got a pass. No matter what you think about Rodgers taking his time this offseason, or going into the darkness before asking for a trade to the Jets, he's got nothing on the drama queen crap Favre pulled back in the day. People felt bad for Aaron when Favre tried to come back in 2008 after announcing his retirement - he wanted to steal the job back from Aaron before GB traded him to the Jets. And then all the drama with Favre and Minnesota -- Childress and the Vikings having to fly down to him.

I was wondering if Adoree Jackson was going to be the returner.

But I like them going out and getting a specialist.

Man, how bad is Covey's neck.

Now Favre, that's an actual ****. Welfare scams, sexually harassing women.

I really don't like using a roster spot on a specialist.  Much rather have Adoree do it while playing a small amount of CB in the process

My only point was, would we draft a pure outside CB in round 1? I personally do not think so, not that I would be against it.
Safety or even slot is a different subject to me.

Don’t we have slot already covered?

Me either. One of the reasons I was OK with moving on from Covey is because you were most likely gaining a roster spot. Guess not.

He went to LSU so maybe area ties

Or maybe he's tired of winning and wants to try losing for a change of pace.  🤷‍♂️

Avery Williams returned 18 punts for 292 yards...at 16.2 yard average in 2022. That seems like A LOT.

If they can find a guy like Turpin it'd be worth it.

And,  guys like Gainwell or Boston Scott are hard to watch.  While we don't want to expose DeJean.

So give me the specialist.

Also good news,  Ainias Smith can't artificially boost his value to the team with return ability. He going to have to prove himself as a WR.

Bo Wulf said from what he understands, the Eagles signed Hughlett over Lovato to save money at long snapper, not because they thought he was an upgrade.

Did Lurie take a hit on the stock market or something? Trying to position the team well cap-wise is one thing, but penny pinching at positions that are already cheap is really odd.

If Bo Wulf is indeed right on this and he may not be.

Lovato’s snaps had become increasingly erratic this past season and even into the 2023 season.

Missed the Adoree signing this morning. Not a bad depth signing. Hope he never has to see meaningful playing time. Still want to see a CB drafted around RD4/RD5 (My draft crushes right now are Mello Dotson, Kansas and Zah Frazier, UTSA).

Also confused with the return specialist they just signed. I assumed Jackson would be penciled in as KR/PR.

I have no idea about this guy. I know he tore his ACL in 2023 and missed the whole year. Other than that, no clue.

I don’t think it’s even a guarantee Williams even makes the roster

But he's not, that's a projection. He's just someone who likes to take his time. People make up the stuff about the attention. In a social media age, if he wanted attention he could go on Twitter and drop cryptic emojis or appear on broadcasts. The guy is actually the opposite. He barely speaks and when he does it's with Pat Mcafee and that's it. If Rodgers is an attention **** for barely ever speaking than what is a guy like CJGJ who's chatting it up on Twitter and chatting Eagles while streaming video games?

People just want to pile on Rodgers.

They want to pile on because he has earned it.
