There are people who still think that McKee is very much a question mark.  He's played about 6 quarters of 'real' NFL football against two of the worst teams in the NFL, at a point in time of the year that both were making vacation reservations.  To me, he's still an unknown, with potential.   Pickett is what he is.  He's on the fast track to a highly paid backup QB across the NFL who will likely bounce around and get decent money to hold a clip board.   And I think teams will be very content with him at that spot.  Is McKee more than that?  I'm not so sure he is.  Then again, I'm not so sure he isn't.

Fair enough. I just think it's pretty obvious at this point that McKee is better than Pickett from what I've seen, but like someone said earlier, it's not worth arguing about over the next several pages when we just won a super bowl. It took some people a while to come around on Hurts too, so I can definitely understand why some are wanting to hold out for a longer sample size on McKee.

Coaching: they took the straight-jacket off Jalen.

Agree. I don't think they felt the need to open it until it mattered.

Interestingly, they seemed to open it up for... the backups? But not the starter. hmm... Yeah makes sense. It must have been the coaches just not opening things up till it mattered.

I dont need any coaching on a discussion I never intended to have in the first place. This is really simple. I am not having that discussion. Go troll elsewhere.

You really could use some coaching now that you mention it.

I'll answer it for you then.  "No, I don't agree", signed HE.  The end.

Well there was this one playoff game against the Bucs that didn't turn out well...

But I get what you're saying and I'd agree overall lol

Hurts outplayed your boyfriend in 2 superbowls. They should have the same number of rings yet you can't stop bringing up a bad game Hurts had.

All great points. If BG retires, and Slay is moved, the remaining veteran presence is Lane Johnson. We're going to see a changing in the guard with veteran leadership. CJGJ leads in his unique way. Hurts is the anti Brian Dawkins. He's a quiet leader on the field, but behind closed doors he makes his messages heard. Dickerson and Mailata are young leaders. They have a great mixture of young veterans who all lead in different ways.

Baun is one of the new leaders on defense.

To be fair Barkley didn't play in that game so they ran less.  When you have the best RB season ever going in games that matter you tend to focus on that first

You cant answer it for me. You have no idea what I would say.

He misses badly from time to time.  Fair enough.

more trolling.

In 2020 The Chiefs O-line was injured. In 2024 going into 2025 they are just bad.

The Mahomes vs Brady comparisons are stupid. Brady is a unicorn who became 24 year old Dan Marino + SB Montana in the playoffs at age 30 and did not stop until 44. Patrick Mahomes is already 2 years into decline Marino (Dan burned bright for about 5 years and was just 7th to 12th best after that) Losing Kelce or getting an even older Kelce is going to knock him down even further. The lower the talent around him, the more his hero ball looks like Carson Wentz.

You can never take away what Mahomes was from 2018-2022 (the best QB through 5 years as a starter) but he is not that guy anymore.

Its so incredibly hard to be an elite QB for a long period of time.

Brady won 13 playoff games in his 30s and another 10 in his 40s. Some people thought Rodgers was owed similar success.

Rodgers won 6 playoff games in his 30s and turned to drugs and conspiracy theories.

Jim Kelly had about 2 years. The rest of his career is a bad joke. The HoF is the punch line. Kelly was Dilfer for a few of those SB runs.

  • He had 67 TDs to 36 picks in the first 2 SB years. (12 fumbles)
  • He had 44 TDs to 42 picks in the last 2 SB years. (20 fumbles)

Aikman could not keep his winning pace up after the the Johnson / Hershel built powerhouse roster faded. It only extended to a 3rd win because of Deion.

Favre won 9 playoff games in 5 years and then won 4 in his next 12

Brees won 3 playoff games and a SB in 2009. He got Beast Quaked the next year and wound up with 2 playoff wins in the next 7 years.

Rivers won 3 playoff games in 2 years and lost a close AFCCG. That team was loaded. He won 1 more playoff game 5 years later, 1 more 5 years after that.

That wasnt their plan for the first 4 games, but we know where that got them.

What's that website that gives estimates on players future contracts?

So, theyre only going to pay $24.16 of our $474 next month when the bills are due for the boards?

I already did since you refused so we can move on now.

Where are you on Williams?  I'd rather draft a DT than spend the money necessary to keep him.  Hard but I think that is the right approach.

Thriving on hills. Many have tried.  No one has killed me yet.  On this one,  I wasnt even there.  Just answered a question that you asked. You're just trolling.

I promise I’m not fishing here, and I’m sure I’ll get killed for this, but I tend to agree with you on that one specific back shoulder throw to AJ Brown.  I need to see it again, but that has not ever been a part of the playbook, so either Hurts isn’t confident throwing it, or the coaches don’t have confidence that he can consistently make the throw.  I think it could have been an underthrow with AJ making an elite adjustment. I also am not criticizing Hurts for this at all, because he made the right decision to pull the trigger in 1:1 coverage.  In the past, he takes an unnecessary sack there.

Here's a question: Did the Eagles offense look better in the final 2 games more because Jalen Hurts played better or because Kellen Moore called better games? Can only pick one.

Because Jalen Hurts called a better game
