Is Pickett better or worse off now than he was a year ago?   Got to live his dream playing for his childhood favorite team... got to take snaps in the NFC CG for that team... got to take snaps in the Super Bowl... got a ring with his childhood favorite team... and is now lined up to be the starter in Cleveland.  Is that worse, better or basically in the same situation, but with a championship ring to his resume... and a life time of memories of a great ride?

Is he still lined up to be starter in Cleveland?  As far as I can see the big rumor is  he's about to end up exactly where he was at the beginning of last year, watching his slot on the depth chart drop as the team he's on sign Russell Wilson.

We've got Mailata, Lane, Steen, Kinnaird and Vakalahi on the roster. unless Vakalahi is turbo Mailata'ing in his development, I'd guess another cheap vet is coming in at some point.

It’s really hard to fathom what other teams deal with considering we have had a quarter of a century of consistency at the position.  Tra and Runyan were by no means HOFrs, but they were near the top of their respective positions for a long time for us.  Then you sprinkle in some Todd Father and the transition to JP/Lane was pretty quickly.  Ya there was a few stinkers in there, but it’s crazy to think the stability we’ve had at the position.  It’s far from a stretch to assume the JP, Kelce and Lane will all be in the Hall someday.

They must have faith in Kinnard.  So "developmental OT” would be a better description of the Draft need.  Charles Grant from William and Mary is my preference.

Willis was picked right before Becton in the 2020 draft.

That's ridiculous, the idea of hiring someone solely to teach trash talk. These guys go from the best in HS to the best in college and have seen and heard it all. Plenty of guys trash talk, just not all of them get the mic'd up attention. We've seen on various mic'd up videos of other guys trash talking: Q, Baun, Carter, Nolan Smith, Hunt. 

The head coach trash talks too. 

BG doing a similar role as Dawkins did previously as a type of mentor to young players would make sense though.
