The Jalyx Hunt fine it ridiculous. How is that a violent gesture, firing an arrow into the sky.

Lets turn all the players into robots with no emotion - Yeah good one.

Seriously, there's a sport called archery no less

We did win the SB with two new coordinators. Nothing stupid in that.

Bucs have changed & lost OC 3 years in a row too and they haven't even made NGCCG

Eagles' keeping their best coach until he chooses when he wants to retire is what truly matters. We'll be good on D for the foreseeable future.

And the offense has overwhelming talent.  Just really need someone who can call plays well.  I think these guys thrive in any scheme.

Yes. I'm all about the defense right now and putting more resources there. Which is why Milton Williams & Baun will be very highly paid Eagles next year. Emphasis has changed and Howie adjusts accordingly, just like he did with putting resources into RB for Barkley. He identifies talent and proper fit and has no problem paying them.

I think McKee and Pickett combine to make $3.7 million this upcoming year.  That's a pretty cool spot to be in as many back up QB's make $4-8 million

but these celebration pictures you keep sending really drive the point home that QB1 is indeed incapable of ever making a mistake. I was very wrong about Hurts' ability as a QB.

Think Sirianni has much more influence on the offense and has found the right chemistry and formula to make this work with anyone.

Just noticed this lol. Travis quit on them.

Interesting. I think you might be the only person I've seen that says both Williams and Baun will be back. Do you think Williams takes a huge discount to stay? He's going to get paid on the market

Guys, you know we won the Super Bowl right?

One day maybe Eagles fans will move past anxiety, Negadelphia, nitpicking and complaining and learn to celebrate and appreciate success. We were Super Bowl starved for 57 years. Now we've won our 2nd within 7 years with a young, stacked roster primed to repeat.

But let's talk about what a failure Huff was, or that one pass that wasn't perfect (yet resulted in a TD).

Too many garbage time points fro the Chiefs. Also, Barkley looks like he’s losing a step. Load the box or not, I thought he was special and that shouldn’t matter.  At least they have the entire offseason to work on these things.

Nothing worse than the dude thst thinks he is smarter than everyone, is in the wrong, just won't admit he is wrong

He isn’t wrong, he’s just opinionated … very opinionated … and obtuse.

Yeah, that's just the way they pay out, they're always delayed by a couple of months. The bulk of that $474 will pay out in May.

I just placed an order that they said they won’t deliver until May

How do you guys think the Chiefs respond? Will this break them and they will start to regress? Or will this motivate them and they will come back with a vengeance next year? At some point, Kelce and Reid will retire but probably not this offseason.

Other teams have now seen the Bucs and Eagles dominate with defense especially the pass rush. Expect the AFC playoff teams to try to use that blueprint, and the Chiefs to be aware and address their O line and strategy. (They seemed to think stopping Barkley and letting Mahomes be "magic" was going to make an easy win. They were blindsided.)

The refs also were fair in the SB. There was too much national attention. I hope that continues next year, the Chiefs can't keep getting assists from the refs so blatantly. Will the Bills, Bengals or Ravens make it to the SB next year instead?

Kelce looked like he was done.  I would not be shocked if he retired.

They need WRs and O line.

Their D is pretty (very) solid and played well this year.  Jones is a bit older than I remembered as @jojodancerreminded me yesterday.  Could be some falloff for him but seems like marginal or of course potential injury as he hits another bday.

I think they have a far rougher time this coming season because the formula for how to D them up is there.  Not so easy to contain AND press with four, plus you have to have high quality coverage guys.  But teams can try and implement and get some results.

No. I think he gets Hargrave money. 3 years/63M or 4 years/84M. Howie will pay that to a young up and upcoming DT. If it's close with another bidder, he stays here. And to play with Jalen Carter is a no brainer. His life will be much easier here than anywhere else. His snaps will go up next year and he gets 8-10 sacks being singled teamed mostly, justifying that contract. I was wavering with him til his dominant Superbowl performance. That did it!

Yeah, I remember that being the case back in 2018 with some LII stuff.

I’ll beg the question and offer one of my own. Did the Eagles offense look better because it played better or because the opponents’ defenses played worse? Loading the box and single covering the receivers did minimize the damage Saquon could do but it opened up opportunities for Brown, Smith, Dotson , and Goedert. Perhaps it was not better coaching by Moore but worse by Spags, etc.

The worse coaching by Spags then produced worse coaching by Andy on Offense.  Barkley, Stout and the big uglies definitely produced butterflies

I promise I’m not fishing here, and I’m sure I’ll get killed for this, but I tend to agree with you on that one specific back shoulder throw to AJ Brown.  I need to see it again, but that has not ever been a part of the playbook, so either Hurts isn’t confident throwing it, or the coaches don’t have confidence that he can consistently make the throw.  I think it could have been an underthrow with AJ making an elite adjustment. I also am not criticizing Hurts for this at all, because he made the right decision to pull the trigger in 1:1 coverage.  In the past, he takes an unnecessary sack there.

We missed an opportunity there. The Chiefs dialed up a blitz and Hurts decided to get it out. It looks to me like the blitz was picked up enough to where Hurts could have had time to make the right throw, but he simply felt the heat and hoped Brown was on the same page.

Rather than blaming Hurts or Brown on the play, I'm just going to credit the defense for doing enough to make a play that affected the outcome. You can watch the video and draw your own conclusion.

I’ve already admitted that quite a few times.  Happy to do it.  He now fully has my trust moving forward because I’ve never seen a QB raise their level of play like that when it mattered most.

It’s unfortunate that you’re incapable of even having discussion that acknowledges any of his deficiencies since the last Superbowl.  Bad timing I guess on my part since we should be celebrating. I’ll leave it alone.

Jalen Hurts is a big game player. His steadiness shows up in big games where opponents get too erratic. He's also more willing to scramble and use his legs which is a real weapon.

But some analysts will prefer Dak Prescott lol

Howies big star Fa got deactivated for the SB…utter GM failure

will try to polish that turd in 25 and get anything useful out of him only bc we are stuck with his contract

Howie’s big star free agent rushed for 2,000 yards and had one of the greatest seasons in NFL history.

Huff wasn’t a star and didn’t get paid like one relative to his position.

I think the offense minus Hurts can thrive in any system. Hurts is a good player, but he IS scheme dependent.

If BG retires I wonder if the Eagles would bring in Calais Campbell for a year as a replacement for the veteran leadership DE role. He can still play
