The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

That said, I don't see that as a real expectation for his role if he stays around the team.

True, but it is fun to contemplate.

I saw 2006 Shawn Andrews do those things at 340 pounds.

The early demise of Andrews is probably my greatest regret in my time being an Eagles fan.

Also good. Really liking these Lions proposals.

I respectfully disagree. If it is to pass, the record of the wildcard team would need to be better than a division winner. It couldn’t be the same 10-7 versus 10-7.  The tie should go to the division winner in my world.

I like him too.

So wouldn't Chris Jones have violated section c when he put his body sideways to obstruct and be pushed?

Ok taking a flier on an OT, but passing on positions the draft is strong at for an OT in a weak class would be bad process IMO. But depends on who is on the board of course.

As long as he retires when father time catches up to him and not go the route Peters did

He needs to follow Kelce and Graham in terms of timeline, and not Peters.  They left while they were still playing at a high level.  Peters last few years were brutal.

That language does nothing to address open field pushing of the ball carrier forward.  I can’t see it getting even half the votes much less three quarters.

I can see why the lions want the rule change about defensive holding and illegal contact lol

Perhaps... and it would have potentially given the Eagles a much better chance in Super Bowl LXII.

There is seemingly no path for an OT to be the every day starter in the next 2 years so would not like that pick in rd 1.  This notion of drafting an OT and playing at OG until Lane retires doesn't seem like a real thing that happens

Yup.  The very best.  Only time in my life where I rooted for rather than against bullies.

What is missing from or not clearly identified on the roster right now?

It seems that the only starting position that is uncertain is safety.  We have players at DE, DT, RG, and CB that folks here seem to have some confidence in.

Rodgers gonna have to decide between the giants, Steelers or retirement. If he choose the giants I’d be surprised if he isn’t drug tested the next day

Wentz may end up as QB2 for the Vikings.

That's where we actually see folks get hurt too.

He also violated logic with that move.  I have no idea what he was thinking.  He had no strength in that orientation... AND he allowed himself to get hurt by doing it.   Just dumb.

Seeding would’ve been

1. lions 15-2

2. Vikings/eagles 14-3

3. eagles/vikings 14-3 (don’t know how that tiebreaker would’ve went as same conference record at 9-3 but eagles were 5-1 vs  division and Vikings 4-2. I proposed a couple months back if there was a tiebreaker between a wildcard team and a division winner, the tiebreaker goes to the division winner for winning their division)

4. Commanders 12-5

5. Packers 11-6

6. Bucs 10-7 (better conference record than rams)

7. Rams 10-7

The first tiebreaker should be that a Division winner gets seeded above a non-Division winner.

Which is oddly enough a self-inflicted wound.  I'm not overly confident in CB
