I've timed this no less than 10 times and I'm getting 4.53-4.59. But sure, that's 4.37.

Really?  I keep getting a range of 4.33 to 4.39.  Impossible to get an accurate finishing position from that end zone view, though.  You need to be at the pylon for a truly accurate reading, IMO.

I don't think we could afford his upcoming contract

Like what I proposed vis-a-vis Hendrickson, trading for him and having him play out the last two years of his rookie contract and then getting a 3rd or 4th round comp pick for him when he gets a Milton payday works … depending on what the trade cost is.

I don't think he would. Players want new deals and are unlikely to just play it out without one.

Thoughts on Joshua Farmer the DT from FSU?  Daniel Jeremiah has him 43rd on his board and haven't heard a peep in here

Hopefully early 3. I'm sure they will draft a RB day 3 as well.

Long arms, but plays more like NT than 3T. Wish he was a bit heavier for a 2-gapping role.

There is seemingly no path for an OT to be the every day starter in the next 2 years so would not like that pick in rd 1.  This notion of drafting an OT and playing at OG until Lane retires doesn't seem like a real thing that happens

Perhaps, but what happens if either Lane or Mailata misses time? People in here have been entirely too tolerant of Fred Johnson’s performances, which went from pretty OK to pretty bad in a steady progression. Lane is now - what? - 35 and who’s behind him? Having lousy tackles sank KC in two SBs. There’s a lesson there. Draft a tackle no later than second round. There are a number of good ones.

Given the presence of Dickerson, Steen, Keegan and Green on the roster it seems unlikely they would want a draftee to initially be a Guard before transitioning to Tackle.  Much more likely that any redshirt year is as a backup Tackle taking all the courses at Stoutland University.

Truly.  Was it hubris as some think, the knee injury, or he just didn't have it to maintain it?

Or head injury?

He also violated logic with that move.  I have no idea what he was thinking.  He had no strength in that orientation... AND he allowed himself to get hurt by doing it.   Just dumb.

Incredibly dumb.  Dumb on multiple levels.  One has to wonder whether the referees should have stepped in and blown the play dead prior to the snap.

There's no rule about it.  What grounds would they have to stop the play?

That's where we actually see folks get hurt too.

Yup.

It shows that the Packers are simply playing games rather than being serious in their choice of reason(s).

Player safety.  Dead ball violation.  Kind of like "unabated path to the QB”

However, I agree with you.  Lots of people would complain that the refs had exceeded their authority.

Yup, was tough to watch one of the most dominant young OLmen in the league implode right before our eyes☹️

I was living in Dallas when Larry Allen was a Cowboy.  Andrews seemed like the second coming of Allen.

Where did you get those numbers?

Swift and Sanders did not get the type of yards Barkley has per carry

If we were to trade for Travon we would pick up his 5th year option which would be in the $14-$15 million dollar range.

Definitely

How much is 2 seasons plus a comp worth?  Likely less than what a team willing to sign him long-term would offer.

So, you probably need to think of it as a long-term investment and who gets kicked off eagles island down the road.

If that is the only choice, then he would be too rich for the Eagles.  The attraction for Walker is the chance for (A) a Dawg reunion, and (B) chasing a ring. Then he gets his pay day two years later.

I wonder if it is to have Stoutland meet with him in person since they couldn't get to the Senior Bowl.

That makes a ton of sense.

I thought they’d bring back more than 2 free agents but seems like that will be it with Fred gone.

I still think there is a really good chance Covey is back.

Under normal circumstances I would agree with you, but Walker is a Dawg … and a hungry Dawg as well.

The trade for Dillon probably moved that back to late Day 3 or maybe even UDFA.

A UDFA RB I like is Lan Larison from UC Davis
