More of a #2 pass-rusher than a #1, but can absolutely play in a rotation.

I have just started to do some research but right now he and Starks are my top two preferences at 32.

Off topic...can anybody confirm that UNM coach Richard Pitino has been hired as coach of Villanova?   I've heard speculation but I haven't seen confirmation.

As alumni of both universities, I can say that Pitino would be a huge get for Nova and a huge loss for the Lobos.

He’s pretty mid. If he’s going to Villanova, they’ve fallen pretty hard.

Unless it's one of those one year deals with very little guaranteed money and an out year after year one, that is the worst contract of free agency so far.

That's akin to if we found out the Eagles paid Justin Simmons 3 years 69 million.

Still an overpay. He's not good anymore. I think 2/16 is more approproate for what he is as a player.

Its too soon to say 2 for 26. Lots of those contracts have poison pill timing so it could be 1 year for 26 or 2 years for 32 or so.

If there is a huge year 3 salary, he's probably never earning it.

 

Its probably safe to say that the Patriots were the Blank Check team for Chris Godwin.

Swinson appears to ba a little bit less effective against the run than Stewart.  But if their snap counts are significantly different that could account for that.
