Eagles have never beat him.  Wonder if this is the first time that every team in a division has a black starting QB.

They beat him this year.

The Eagles starting defense gave up less points in the Super Bowl than the Flyers have the last 2 games.

Whatever photos Joe Schoen has of John Mara must be really really really bad

Just saw Pitino is going to Xavier.  He would have been good at Villanova.  He's good at recruiting/retaining talent and plays a high energy brand of basketball.

Considering where they’re at, Wilson is a decent signing for them and they didn’t pay a lot.  Winston is essentially the black Ryan Fitzpatrick, so they were desperate to draft a QB

Now they could conceivably roll with the two veterans and take the BPA at #3, stink for one more year, and draft a much better QB prospect in 2026

All the media does is shill now. It's never been worse. I can't even read columns by writers or reporters anymore it's just full of propaganda. The baseball media is the worst. All they do is gush over LA and NY 24/7 it's insufferable. They've sold their souls for scoops and for clicks from fans of top markets. It's a shame how low many of them sunk. Just total bootlickers to their masters.

Either that or the opposite.  As Pacific Palisades learned, being on fire isn’t always a compliment.

IDK man, you never know. I know it's early, we haven't had the draft and a lot can change, but New England might prove good enough to finish 4th in their division this season.

From Tommy Lawlor at Igglesblitz …

Let’s go back to pre-draft visits. Here is what we know as of Monday night.

OT Marcus Mbow

OT Jalen Travis

OT Anthony Belton

OT Josh Conerly

CB Maxwell Hairston

Edge Elijah Roberts

Hairston is a playmaking CB from Kentucky. Had 6 INTs, including 3 pick-sixes, over the past two seasons. Hairston ran the fastest 40 of any player at the Combine this year. He timed 4.28. You don’t find a lot of CBs with elite speed and great ball skills. There isn’t any surprise that the Eagles have interest in Hairston. He would fit Vic Fangio’s scheme and give the defense another outstanding talent.

Kelee Ringo ran a blazing 40 at his Combine. Quinyon Mitchell ran very well last year. Obviously the Eagles value top speed in their CBs. There is a question of whether Hairston makes it to pick 32. If the Eagles took him, they would have the fastest set of CBs in the league. Also a very talented group.

Jimmy Kempski has an Eagles Mock up tofay at https://www.phillyvoice.com/eagles-only-mock-draft-version-3-0-derrick-harmon-josaiah-stewart-andrew-makuba/

His picks with individual profiles of each pick are for:

Round 1, pick 32: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon (6'5, 313)

Round 2, pick 64: Josaiah Stewart, EDGE, Michigan (6'1, 249)

Round 3. pick 96: Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas (5'11, 186)

TRADE: The Eagles trade picks 134 and 168 to the Falcons for picks 118 and 218.
Round 4, pick 118: Harold Fannin, TE, Bowling Green (6'3, 241)

Round 5, pick 161: Dont'e Thornton, Jr., WR, Tennessee (6'5, 205)

Round 5, pick 164: Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Virginia Tech (5'9, 206)

Round 5, pick 165: Hollin Pierce, OT, Rutgers (6'8, 341)

Round 7, pick 218: Eli Cox, C, Kentucky (6'4, 306)

Thoughts?

OverTheCap has updated their Comp Pick cancellation chart to add the Lamm signing, but lots of TBAs still

A big part of Vic's scheme involves tackling after the catch. That would be Hairston's main weakness and why, IMO, it's doubtful we would select him. Poor tackling is what we saw vs Tampa last year and what we saw from the defense for most of 2023.

Love Harmon.  He might be my favorite realistic target although most mocks have him gone by #32.  Like Stewart, Mukuba, Fannin and Tuten although I have a hard time believing Tuten will be available at #164.  Dont know much about the other three will need to watch some tape.`

It's a box checking draft that hits the top 3 positions of need as many of us fans see things.  But, with all the OL they are bringing in for pre-draft visits I don't believe they wait until pick 165 for OL.

They have 30 visits and we heard about 4 OL. They might have been first because of scheduling but in itself the number isn’t high yet

russell? black?

when did this happen?

.  There has only been two postseason games in Met Life stadium?  And one of them was that Super Bowl they put there after 9/11.   The Giants and Jets combined have hosted exactly ONE playoff game in that Stadium!

But, no worries... Russ is back now.  🤣

I figured Ojulari would most likely wipe out the 6th, but Lamm is walking that $2.5M threshold which would be a bummer if it stacks and we lose a 5th as well (I assume we won't).

True.  But I see them taking an interior lineman in the first 3 rounds.  Our depth is thin. Dickerson and Jurgens recovering, Steen got hurt last TC, and Green is a project.  As the roster currently stands an injury to any of Dickerson,  Jurgens, or Steen and it is problematic.  Or if Jurgens and/or Dickerson aren't ready to start the season.  Interior OL is a need.
