I don’t think we need another overpaid DL (Huff). Don’t you think that Williams was the beneficiary of playing next to most violent and disruptive DT in the entire league?

Ultimately this Eagles team has a ton of talent but you can’t project a cap future where 22 starters are on 2nd contracts so you’re going to have to let some go

Here’s a question:  when has an internal coaching promotion ever worked out in the Jeff Lurie ownership timeline?

Brad Childress moving to OC from QB coach.

Andy calling plays makes this less impressive but fair enough

First quarter pts

62 in 17 regular season games

44 in 4 post season games

yeah, that seems very low.  I'm guessing $18M or more per year.  The open market raises prices, and McNeil got about $20M/year.

McNeil is at 24

It is what it is.  🤷‍♂️

That's quite a nice improvement.

This guy any good? I remember reading months ago the QBs in this draft are 👎

Even worse then for Williams' price tag.

If Milton really is 3 and $36M then he can stay.

LOL. All those values are waaaaay off.

I agree

If it’s 20+ then thanks forever for the Super Bowl and the 3rd rd comp pick

I remember just last year when many people here figured there's no way Howie can resign both Devanta and AJ Brown long term. And it happened just like that. Do think Fangio has a major influence on who we keep on defense going forward. Keeping Baun and Williams is really no big deal here if Howie wants it to happen. It can all fit in easily. Even with Carter coming up in a year or 2. If Howie and Fangio decide Milton & Baun are a part of the core this is a done deal. Cant worry about Davis or Ojomo at this point. They may both leave but they are backups right now and we have them for 2 more years and can develop more depth by then. Also, this isn't the Norman Braman days where we don't pay top talent.

I sure don't like the idea of losing Davis.  He has come along nicely late and a huge reason we can stuff the run.  ALWAYS give me a gigantic guy to push the middle.

True. Ojomo will fill his role. Draft a DT in the 3rd rd. It's a deep draft at that position

I remember being concerned over that. They really turned it up the last 4-5 weeks of the regular season and into the playoffs

I love Dart. He's been a treat to watch at Ole Miss. Kinda Baker Mayfield, kinda Johnny Manziel and kinda Bo Nix. I'd much rather the Giants get Shedeur Sanders than Dart. I was trying to make the point yesterday that right now there are 2 sure fire top 10 QBs, but we will easily see 4-5 after combine and workout season. Teams want to find their guy.

Something not to be overlooked.  As the clock strikes zero and he’s told he was voted Super Bowl MVP, he replies "Super Bowl Champ”.  He truly doesn’t care about the individual accolades and stats, he just wants to win.

I really liked that moment.

Still don't understand why people don't want to field the best possible team this coming year if you can? Why sacrifice Williams? You can trade him in a couple years if you need cap space. Or trade Davis or Ojomo? Why not hold the assets as long as you can and let this play out. Howie will figure this out. These contracts will all be staggered with Carter and later with Nolan Smith , Quinyon & Coop etc. Injuries happen as well to dicate cap spending such as the case with Dean now.

Williams is worth more than a late 3rd round compensatory pick that can't produce anything for another year. That's almost like a late 4th rounder in true value. I'm here to run it back with the key young guys from this season, so this dominating defense can sustain itself with out much of a hiccup.

I think Baun and Rodgers are the 2 guys you need most. Shame to lose other guys but it’s right for the future

I'm a fan. Has a good arm and was a pretty accurate qb in college. Got better each year. No surprise here... at least not for me

At 18m per you think Howie keeps him?

I would add Burks in there as well on a 1 year deal. Becton will be back

1. Cap

2. Historically deep draft at DT
