Weak sauce.

I actually do want them to ban it now (and leave the rest of the pushing so the whole thing is so obviously about our success).  Just so we can power over them on QB1 sneaks anyway.  @Iggles_Phan (I think and there may be others here as well) proposed just lining up all the beef (Dillon, Saquon and Jalen) and just pushing forward shoulder to shoulder (and protecting Jalen's flanks).  I will laugh every time we do it.  And you KNOW Nick will be smiling that ish eating grin to annoy the league.

Yup whose to say the RBs cant push the OL from behind, like a loose forward in a scrum?

Goedert is still productive, but his injury situation is a concern and he is not young either.  Having his replacement in place is critical.  The earlier additions have not been promising.  Signing a few vets are stop gaps and not solution.  Expect TE to be a focus in the upcoming draft.

Trading him may be more difficult.  Giving up a productive and key player is not easy.  Particularly his replacement is not on the roster yet.

A single moment?

A photo is a single moment.  @just relax is saying something I have said for years, a single photo is often not an accurate depiction of play.  We see it all the time with the "he was open” photos that don’t show movement or momentum.

Shame there's practically no more visible brick at CBP. The charm of the park has dwindled. The natural brick gave it an old fashioned ball park feel.

We have 3 seasons worth of snapshots of Davis.  It's hardly a single moment.

I don't think there is anyone here debating Jordan Davis' relative value in terms of a moment or play.  The debate surrounds how he's been utilized over the course of three full seasons, and whether that impact warrants a second contract (at the current cost of DT second contracts)

But the half was over.

The holy roller made it a penalty to bat the ball. An offensive penalty in their own endzone is a safety if accepted

There was a change of possession when FG was blocked and bears scooped for attempted return score. Steelers were on defense.

It's definitely a weird take to use. The whole argument against him is using his entire career

I've sent out a bulk email to tell everyone about the upcoming change to our login method, so far the board has sent me 3 or 4 of them. So if you get multiple emails, it's just a quirk of the board, sorry about that. Not sure why it's sending multiples.

Less than half of the members will get it, but it is what it is and it's important that everyone get the message so go with the flow.

Huge. We could wear Kelly Green at home against every Divisional opponent and leave one game for the all-black, even though I'd prefer all four games be Kelly Green.

Big day for the NFL aesthetic. Teams can now wear alternates/throwbacks up to four times per year. And more versatility allowed for alt helmets with primary jerseys (e.g., Broncos white helmet with orange jersey).

I'm still trying to figure out if the FO/Vic wants a 3-4 OLB or a 4-3 base end - or are they're ambivalent and just want a player that can fill a role.

Yes.  He wants an OLB that can play DE is sealing the edge but occasionally can drop in coverage.

They should dump the black jersey completely - it’s played out, and replace it with the 90s white.

There's a month to go before the deadline to exercise the 5th year option on Davis.  I wonder if they wait until after the draft.   If they land a NT... they don't exercise it... if they don't land the NT, maybe they do.   Personally, I don't see the need.  If a team overpays, take the comp pick.  If a team doesn't overpay, resign him yourself.  He's a guy that I'd bring back at no more than $10M/year.

That should be the move. They used to wear white at home early in the year quite often.

3 round mock.

Scourton

TJ Sanders (Norman-Lott was still on the board)

RJ Harvey (Jaylin Noel and Anthony Belton were on the board as well as a couple other RBs.)

I'm ok with the first 2 but not feeling Harvey especially in that round.

Hate that I'm saying this, but credit to ESP to pushing back about the data. So he's concerned about the long term results of putting your body in a certain position, based on data that they don't have yet. The entire sport of football puts your body in positions that are going to have long lasting effects. This is a bunch of nonsense.

Also, Sean, you're 51. Flat brim is not for you.

ESP also said he’s pro-banning the tush push, for some reason nonsense reason

”even if it makes the eagles worse, it’ll be more memorable if we get it banned”

The option is close to his value, 2yrs/$15M, sure - beyond that I think he’s outside the inner circle as we can only pay a handful of players on defense.

Was literally about to ask if you set it to remind us every 15 minutes

That's an effective way to remind people at least

OR replace it with Kelly Green

Sure, it’s better than generic NFL jersey.

I deleted it from the bulk mail queue, so it shouldn't send any more out. HOPEFULLY. I think I got 8 so far.

Year 4 cap hit is $5.4M.   The 5th year is another $12.9M.

:offtopic:  All Edmundo Sosa does is get big hits... and play great defense.

Break out the PT-109 boys!

Nope, normal bat.
