Not really.  I get jerseys now more for their significance in retrospect.  My wife bought me a McCoy jersey almost immediately before he was traded.  I bought a Wentz jersey because I assumed at the time he’d be a long term franchise fixture.  Both were very quickly rendered obsolete.

I’m pretty sure Barkley will hold the Eagles rushing record longer than my remaining days, and I’m also pretty sure when I watch Super Bowl LIX 20 years from now, Sweat’s performance will still stand out.

Sweat might not be on the team next year.  Personally, I would go with a Devonta Smith jersey.  Ironically, I think both Smiths (Devonta and Nolan) are my favorite players on the team. Just love their personalities and team first attitudes

The jersey of a player who had an elite Super Bowl-winning performance will never go out of style. The real ones will know.

Yea I bought a Barkley LIX jersey for the same reason, he just had one of the greatest rushing seasons ever and he led the team to the Super bowl. That's one that will never go out of style
