So I don’t know if the following is true or not about Oskar Blues and how they got their start, but I was told two things about them.  Maybe you can confirm or deny:

1) They started, almost as a joke, to put really flavorful beers in cans and not be haughty with bottles as a joke.  That got them accepted by the hiking community because (if you ever did 14ers you get this) it’s a lot lighter to take your celebratory beers up in a can vs a bottle, so people flocked to them since their only competition in the can space was all piss beers.
2) They manufacture their beer cans to burn in fire pits, adjacent to the reason listed above

#1 Don’t think it was a joke but intentional as the founder was an avid biker/hiker..  #2 I don’t know.  Seems fishy as most adhere to packing out any trash as fires are rarely allowed in the Colorado Rockies.

I liked Antonio's. I tried a place called Ember next to the lake. Decent burrito bowl on the lunch menu, which may start crap on here, but it's not a Mexican restaurant. Thanks for the suggestions I'll try them.

PS are they done with the streets yet? That was a pain last year.

Done in town.  All roads open.  But the new reservation system backs things up.  Beaver Meadows entrance you can expect to wait in line for an hour or more. Make sure you have your reservation or you won't get in.  Falls River entrance is supposed to be fully operational this summer, but again,  a reservation is required.

Madrid vs Barcelona has to take the cake.

It’s got the Babe Ruth controversy of the best player in the world switching sides with DiStefano in the 1950’s and Figo in the 1990’s, the series is almost dead even at 105-103-52, they’re 2 of the 5 most successful clubs in European soccer, and they’re the two most famous sports teams in the world regardless of sport.

Oh, and the ACTUAL greatest player rivalry ever… Ronaldo vs Messi.

Maybe joke is the wrong word... It was presented to me as if two dudes were hanging out and one said "Wouldn't it be crazy if we just put the most flavorful beers in a can" and went from there.  The story tracks IMO.  If you ever brewed beer back in the day the supply stores only sold bottles and bottling kits.  Oskar blues went straight to the can.

I want to believe it.  I threw more than one in a fire pit and they burned good

QB2 is absolute crazy talk based off the information we have on hand now.  DTR has been abysmal and shown nothing that inspires confidence for me.  IMO he was merely filler in the trade.

You don't think 1 TD to 10 INT is a good ratio?

Filler is a bit too pessimistic in my opinion.  I think he, like Kenyon Green is a dice roll … much like Mekhi Becton was last year.

Becton has showed much more in the NFL than the other 2 mentioned here.  One highly touted coming in, like Becton but hadn't done anything to live up to that and the other just another JAG QB with athleticism, but no ability to play the position.

DTR needs to be ripped down to the studs and completely rebuilt.

This team knows how to coddle QBs and design an offense they can be successful in.

DTR had success as a rookie in pre-season, so there is hope we see him in that form again. Eagles still obviously liked him, so there must be a reason.

My gut feel on 1st round pick in no particular order. First, guys that could be there.

Savaiinaea

Starks

Ezeiruaku

Scourton

Campbell

Whichever TE is still available- Warren or Loveland

Trade Down

Revel

Amos

Jackson

I dont feel like putting trade up options in. I feel good about the players listed above so the value of trading up for a Walker or Harmon feels a little much.

Honestly, dont feel all that impressed by the trade downs either considering the quality of the list of players potentially available.

Brad Goebel had success as a rookie in preseason, too.

of course. But I presume if the eagles felt strongly about that comparison they wouldnt have made the trade for DTR.

The 2 mentioned were targets at the time of their drafts per Howie.  Must be rated highly, but other teams took them.  The seasons they were with other teams hopefully did not get rid of their basis abilities.  The team takes a chance to revive their career, and to cash in their earlier efforts in scouting.

I don’t think the Eagles will have any interest in Loveland. He’s just not much of a blocker, and if the eagles are taking a TE that early they need to at least have the potential to be a good inline run blocker. I think they would take Taylor straight up over him just based on skill set.

Warren won’t last to 32, but he’s one of the few TEs in recent years I think they may consider in the first because of how good of a fit he’d be.

I dont think the eagles necessarily value blocking in a prospect. They draft them and teach them to block.

Ertz wasnt a blocker at all in college. Goedert wasnt a great blocker and learned. Calceterra wasnt a blocker at all and is getting pretty decent...

Absolutely right. That’s a rivalry that goes beyond sport.
Shame on me for being so provincial.

BigEFly cooks with both butter and hot peppers.  McKee has a nice touch on deep and intermediate throws.  So does Hurts.  They lose some of the running aspect missing Hurts but that’s about it.

But the running aspect of Hurts' game is a substantial part. If an opposing defense is facing McKee instead of Hurts they probably aren't going to spend too much time worrying about McKee runs. They might want to pay a little closer attention to the passing game though.

It’s not like Loveland is a 230lb F-type, he has the size to be an effective blocker if coached up.

Loveland is so good. I could see him being a better pro than Warren. He just glides out there. He's going to be a really good pro.

Loveland playing at michigan, a heavy run team has to be able to block a little right?

I think he became passable.

"The Pickler" is the type of stuff made for police wanted posters for perverted behavior.

Kenny Two Gloves is way less creepy.
