For all the talk about best RB class ever, the comps on this site get kinda trash pretty quick. I do like Clinton Portis down there for Croskey-Merritt

Interesting to compare that chart to the the NFL Stock Exchange list from Thursday

I don’t think so. I speak for the silent majority here. There’s actually a hidden section of the declaration of independence that under black light states that tea, soccer and calling gasoline petrol is for losers! I think it also mentioned the metric system for purposes other than getting to the moon. Though I think you got a pass because it does say something about hippies being allowed to boring things like soccer and phish. *insert your old profile pic* 🤣

Yes, but for what! 🥴

All of the above is why I want Jackson Hawes as Jack Stoll redux.

For a dreadful receiver, he blocks pretty well, but asking him to block a decent pass rusher reminds me of us against the 49ers. I pass on him, and certainly not to him. He might challenge Van Sumeran, though.

Barca and Real Madrid play football

So this just happened.  Before I put Ellie down for the night she always wants me to rock her in the recliner in her room.  Tonight, for whatever stupid reason I decided I would pretend that I fell asleep and wouldn't let her wake me up.

"Daddy!"

snore

"WAKE UP!!!"

snore

(tiny little hands in my mouth)

snore

All of a sudden, at the top of her lungs:

"GO EAGLES!!!!!!"

1) Of course I pretended to wake up from that

2) Baby girl could get a full ride to Yale and I still think this is will be my proudest moment as a father.

Nah.  It's just the reality for a US sports fan.  I really tried to like soccer.   My uncle is a big soccer guy.  He played soccer in college, lived and breathed it, and he came to stay with us for a bit during the 1994 World Cup when it was in the US.  And I watched multiple games with him as a teenager, trying to learn what was so great about it.

And then I watched the Finals that year... a 0-0 tie that ended with penalty kicks.

So riveting...

30 years later and I can honestly say, I haven't missed a single game.

Bad news, Hawes appears to be particularly abysmal at contested catches… good news, there’s no way Jalen is throwing him the ball unless he’s wide open (likely a mesh crosser).

Maybe when McKee is traded to PIT, they can throw in Darnell Washington💪

Looking at the Eagles top 30 visits so far it breaks down to:

CB 2

RB 1

OT 2

OLB 2

Guard 2

DE 2

Interesting no TEs or DTs.

6ers are in danger of winning.

playing with fire. Timberwolves lead back up to 6 with 59 seconds left.

2 point game. 30 seconds. SOMEONE ELSE POST AND HELP GET US OFF THIS PAGE!

14.5 seconds. we are a grimes 3 ball away from winning.

phew. 114-109 7 seconds left. That should do it.

Oh well

lost.

Interesting player here. Hard to figure out what to do with him. 6'0'' 218lb Linebacker. Who looks disciplined but just isnt big enough. Looks like he ran a 4.41 at his pro day with 35'' vertical. He looks comfortable in man to man coverage on this video even turning and running to cover a vertical route.

I say sign him in UDFA as a special teams demon. Long term, do you hope to add weight and keep him at LB? Do you see if he can convert to safety? Not sure.

Really looks like he can play though. This year 82 tackles, 2 sacks, 3FFs, 2 INTs, and 8 PBUs. He is a playmaker. You just gotta figure out where to play him.

Wtf was that foul on flagg?

I don't like Duke but that was bad.  Both games tonight were great.  Hoping Monday nights championship is just as good.

I know I'm probably in the minority but I enjoy college basketball more than the NBA.

Hate Duke but that probably shouldn’t have been called. They hadn’t called that all game so it’s tough to just start calling that in that spot. That said, there’s an official problem in college basketball. It’s inconsistent conference to conference and game to game. Moreover the fact Tony Padilla was doing the first final four game was laughable. He’s been absolutely garbage during big 12 play this year. He was a pac 12 official for years until this year. He was hated universally by every fan base.
