Screw it, I’ll run through it quick. My weekly takeaway/memories…

Week 1 win over Green Bay — Barkley announcing his arrival in Philly. Honorable mention: Baun also announces his arrival.

Week 2 loss to Atlanta — The Barkley drop.

Week 3 win over New Orleans — The long Barkley TD and long Goedert catch.

Week 4 loss to Tampa — What the hell is wrong with Fangio’s defense? Why did we make it so easy for Tampa?

Week 5 bye — Maybe Sirianni should have just been fired in the offseason.

Week 6 win over Cleveland — Welp, the bye didn’t fix the team. Having to hang on the beat Cleveland seems like a bad sign of things to come.

Week 7 win over NYG — Barkley could have ran for as many yards as he wanted.

Week 8 win over Cincinnati — Wow, what a difference Cooper DeJean is making to this defense. The Bengals don’t have a great record, but this was an impressive win.

Week 9 win over Jacksonville — Barkley’s Mario backwards leap, Devonta’s incredible TD and Nakobe’s interception to end the game.

Week 10 win over Dallas — I have very little recollection of this game. Just an easy win against an inferior team. My main memory of the game was being happy to rest some guys with Washington coming to Philly on a Thursday night.

Week 11 win over Washington — The fourth down stop on Daniels.

Week 12 win over LAR — Wow, Barkley is inevitable.

Week 13 win over Baltimore — DeJean’s tackle on Henry. This is a team that is a legit SB contender.

Week 14 win over Carolina — I’ll remember not being able to sack Bryce Young and Legette’s drop.

Week 15 win over Pittsburgh — Hurts and the passing game finally looked good.

Week 16 loss to Washington — Hurts’ concussion, Smith’s drop and the defense collapsing.

Week 17 win over Dallas — Saquon hitting 2,000 yards.

Week 18 win over NYG — Tanner McKee!

Wildcard round vs Green Bay — Burks setting the tone on the opening kickoff. Q finally got a pick!

Divisional round vs the Rams — Feeling like it was over when Barkley scored the long TD and then feeling like it was over when Nacua made that long sideline catch and then the relief after Carter took over the final two defensive snaps of the game to win.

NFCCG vs Washington — Barkley’s TD on the Eagles’ first offensive snap and the refs threatening to give the Eagles a TD.

SB vs KC — DeJean’s pick six, the dagger to Smith and the front four’s dominance.

What hit Howie Roseman's head during the parade.

It’s been 13 years since they’ve tagged a player.  I think the Eagles/Howie avoid it intentionally.

They definitely do. It’s bad cap management.

Week 6 feels like a different team. Sirianni randomly coming out as a skinhead and yelling at fans and then pulling his kids up at the PC was a bizarro day.

Which college O-Coordinators you think we would look at in the Interviewing process?

How are guys rising or falling? They havent done anything, no workouts, interviews, no games etc...There was the Senior Bowl and the National Championship but since then not much that would cause a guy to rise or fall other than a player getting in trouble off the field

Could be that value evaluations change?

iE if now all say: the Eagles won because of DL, so now more teams want DL and the whole draft picture changes?

Or it's just the media catching up to what teams really think the closer the draft gets.

The Philadelphia eagles had a 58.3 winning percentage in the 14 years AR was head coach.

In the 13 years since, they have a 59.9 winning percentage

I might be alone in this but I don't see Nussmeier as a huge loss, if we accept that Hurt's most consistent season as QB was '22 then Brian Johnson was QB coach that year, has Nussmeier moved him forward as a QB since Johnson left the building?

It is becoming a mild concern I'm not even seeing rumors of guys we might be looking at for OC or assistant coaches though.

Will make an amusing anecdote 4 years from now when he’s Tanner Mckee’s backup in Chicago

Yeah I'm not worried about Nussmeier I'm worried about repeating the same internal promotion mistake we've made so many times already.  Also last year we intentionally wanted an outside voice and Patullo is as opposite of an outside voice as you could possibly get.  He's essentially Sirriani. And Sirriani did better as a HC with less O involvement.  Really hoping the OC search isn't a rubberstamp on Patullo

Start from the top and note the mobility of their QBs, then start from the bottom and note the mobility of their QBs

He really shouldn't be drafted before the tail end of the first round, so he's beaking off at a bunch of teams.

Team has been really good ever since Lurie took over.

Even Rhodes had early success winning a playoff game.

Kellen Moore's brother Kirby - inside zone, dagger concepts.
