How quickly we forget that he did not play his rookie year and his benching for Wis in 2017.  Didn’t start again until five games into 2018.  Steen, not playing much his rookie year but when he was in last year, he wasn’t as bad as Seumalo was at the time of his benching.  I am not saying he will turn the corner.  Just saying the Seumalo experience should not be ignored.

Seumalo did not turn into a quality OG right away.  I recall about 2 games per season in year 2 and 3 where his inability to block anyone torpedoed our offensive game plan.

He was eventually very good…but not early on.

Harmon is a pick at or near 32. ON-L is a pick at or near 64.  With that said, the profile of ON-L in this YouTube beginning at 34:00 is worth watching.

We need another Harmon.

Tuned in to the last two minutes of Arlington-Birmingham UFL game.

That should be the punchline.

Down 9-3, Birmingham goes for it on 4th down, and Matt Corral throws an INT. Should be ballgame. But in UFL, all plays under 5 mins are subject to review. Review shows Birmingham OL committed a false start. Procedural penalty negates the INT and 4th down is replayed. Birmingham converts and goes on to win 10-9.

Hot garbage that UFL.

Yup, there were like 50 people in the stands watching...

I tried to have a draft with names the eagles have visited with. The problem- DT was not addressed.

Did not double up on CB- Jaylin Smith is meant as a S pick.

Only one they havent met with is Riley Leonard.

Oh, I’ve seen it. Watch the attached to get a sense of how ONL is being used and how that translates into 1.5 gapping.

Who doesn't?  Maybe fans and alumni of the universities that can afford to spend $20 million to compete for a national championship.  This can't be sustainable from the fan perspective.  There needs to be a national salary cap of some sorts to maintain some semblance of sanity.

Once upon a time the National Championship was mythical and the Harvard -Yale game was newsworthy, as was Cal -Stanford and Notre Dame - USC.  And none of the money went to the slaves … the players.

No Cam Jackson after all the gassing up you did yesterday? 134?

One DT that doesn't get a lot of love is Tyliek Williams. He plays nasty and is very powerful, has enough burst and size. Arms are short which is unfortunate but he looks good enough to me on the field. The power and nasty between himself and Carter on the field simultanously would be something very fun to watch I imagine.

He is a bear on Run D.  On Pass D, not so much.

Yeah, sorry but no. This isn't even a strong draft either. In a strong draft it has never happened before and it's not going to start this year. Trading a future 3rd for a 4th is no where near the ball park of trading a future 1st for the 32nd.

There's a reason teams are looking to trade back this year. I don't even think there will be very many teams willing to sacrifice next years 2nd never mind a 1st. Grab a 3rd this year or something like the previous trade we made at 32, next years 2nd and a 4th this year. Maybe we throw in one of our many 5th's this year to sweeten it up. But that's about the ceiling. A next years 1st trade only happens if the GM dealing with Howie got into Paco's garage and found his glue stash.

Nobody trades away a higher pick for a lower pick the following year. That just will never happen. There isn't a team in the NFL that wouldn't trade next year's 2nd round pick for #32 this year. That comment is really out there. We received two 2nd round picks (consecutive years) for #32 in 2018 (and there was a minimal 4th round swap) which is way better than what you seem to think is possible. Baltimore landed Lamar Jackson and that became a monumental move for them. Teams value that 5th year option and that's the biggest reason somebody might want to trade for #32. But to give up #32, a team needs to feel they received value greater than or equal to that.

Not sure he was there. There were no DT names jumping out at me but I could have overlooked it. Thats the spot I was really looking for a NT.

If you’re strictly playing the top-30, they haven’t given you much to work with at DT really. Shemar Turner, mm-kay.

Saw this on Twitter. Pretty funny that Johnny Wilson’s Super Bowl card is him dropping the ball.

I really hate that they used to picks on such trash at WR last year because not it feels so much less likely they take a decent one this year. And so, the depth we didnt have at WR last year before the draft was still depth we didnt have after the draft. Because those guys were trash. And it may continue this year, trying to give our draft picks a chance.

The round 4-5 and later guys in this draft arent very good. And I dont think the eagles are likely to take a WR in the top 3 rounds so I dont see it being upgraded.

The "ask me why" guy :furious:

Kevin Costner's character is pretty much Mr. Brooks running a football team.

That's why he's apparently getting move to tackle...right?

They take a RB and LB in the top-10 and everyone is celebrating - some real glue sniffing going on.

He will need coaching on defeating blocks more but I like his tenacity, under our coaching staff he should develop.

And they still gave up 3 2nd round picks.

Also, out of nowhere, the 60 year old Costner tells his 82 year old mom that she's going to be a grandma.

Yeah, not crazy about the two we got last year either and I doubt they give up on them after 1 year. Bringing in Marshall probably means they feel like we're fine there now. But if Keenan Allen doesn't have a high cost and wants to jump on board for the year I certainly wouldn't mind.

Ty Robinson from Nebraska is an exciting mid-round target as 3T/4i type.

He's a bit older, just turning 24, but I love the way he plays DT.
