No. This is a shortsighted trade. I like our young and hungry defense. Would like to keep it homegrown and pay our talent first.

Hungry? You are trading for a guy that has won literally nothing and the reason he is asking out.

Chip Kelly.

He already is back in the NFL I think with the raiders

I think the only way Howie trades for Miles Garrett is if he loses out on every one of our top free agents because of price and then he feels the need to do something

Not denying his hunger or talent. Think he would give you maybe 2 prime seasons. You're paying for his past work mostly. On the wrong side of 30. Too much to give up here for 2 great seasons that you would get. Just with the Eagles recently, Quinn and Fletcher slipped considerably by age 31 and 32. And they break down as well. And everyone here knows who we have to pay coming up. I'm signing our own first.

Browns likely will want him out of the division and conference

If they are going to make a big splash trade, they should go after Parsons, not Garrett. Though I don't think Dallas would ever deal him to the Eagles, but crazier things have happened in sports.

How are guys rising or falling? They havent done anything, no workouts, interviews, no games etc...There was the Senior Bowl and the National Championship but since then not much that would cause a guy to rise or fall other than a player getting in trouble off the field

Because that team really likes that guy and thinks he's a this type of player whereas there are concerns that some of that other guys lack of production were about more than his lack of opportunity.

I'd take Miles over Sweat.  Sweat isn't that much younger and knees are more of a concern.

Whoever he identifies as the core here he will sign. They will overpay Baun and Williams a little here. Probably could have had them for less during the season and didn't do it out of principle of keeping team focused. Don't think money will be a barrier here for who they identify as keepers. Even Burrow made the comment, Eagles pay their people.

Yes

Of course. But too many people waiting in line right now to get paid. And we have Jalyx Hunt in wait.

No, they will give Myles Garrett for a 2nd round pick.

Dallas trading us Parsons this year would be the craziest rival trade in my lifetime. Maybe next year if they’ve given up on competing and just want picks but even then not happening

Garrett for Pickett! Boom! Blew your mind lol

How about Jason Peters for assistant OL coach?

He should be hired to coach Jake Elliott.

Mavs trade Doncic to the Lakers, so never say never, but I definitely wouldn't count on the Cowboys doing it. But this defense would be unstoppable with Parsons.

The Kenny Pickett starts with a week of preparation game.

Can just wait out Parsons like we did Barkley. And sign him as a free agent. That would be the best outcome of all. But Parsons has to feel slighted. He's saying all the right things about being a Cowboy for life. But who knows?! Dallas has fumbled all their negotiations with stars.

Wonder what job he is even getting.  They already hired an OL coach

Probably Run Game Coordinator

That was the other Dallas game in Philly.

Doesn't Parsons want a mega contract?

No thanks. He'll tell the players to ask for a raise if they switch positions.

I’d be more worried about him trying to suit up.

Don't compare Quinn to Myles that is a horrid comparison. I will take 3 elite years of Myles if the only 1st I am giving up is a 1st in 2025 a mediocre draft.

How about Reddick? Age 30. Looks done. His 29 season was slipping some too. You are not getting an elite Garrett at age 32 season. That's far-fetched.
