If it weren't for the character concerns, Mike Green has Eagles trade up target written all over him. High upside productive guy at a premium position.

Wonder what the return on the trade is that they are working out. Cant imagine we get the 4th overall pick but also can't believe we'd trade him for a second either.

I've seen the converted WR to TE out of Syracuse Gadsden in the top 10 in some places. Evaluations on him seem all over the place though.

Agreed - but it depends on what we need, if our TE1 is getting crumbs as the 4th option in the offense… then maybe Helm, Evans or Hawes can do the trick as a Y blocker (rehash of a previous convo).

Yup, the aim would be to have another Zach Baun out there that can step up to the line, blitz, have easy speed to chase down QBs leaking out, etc. Campbell isn’t a good zone defender now - but you can imagine having two big guys with huge fly swatter length gumming up the middle of the field for QBs.

I respectfully disagree. At this time last year, both boundary corner back and slot corner back were definitely in the worrisome category if not worse.

I want to come out of the first round with one of the following names:

Walter Nolen

Mykel Williams

Mike Green

Donovan Ezeiruaku

James Pearce Jr

And even though it would piss me off taking a first rounder on a safety because CJGJ should still be here, I couldn't hate Starks just because I think he's a stud. Though it would give me anxiety on day two because suddenly you gotta fill Edge and DT and one of those picks is probably going to TE. So please just grab one of those names.

I don’t know - he has the tools to be a really good box safety, but we don’t do that here - and he doesn’t really trigger downhill well from depth against the run. Basically, he’s not Tarzan for us - I’d rather have Mukuba a round or 2 later.

I agree with your assessment of Emmanwori (Siri calls him M and Worry). I would add that he’s awfully raw and inexperienced on top of the things that you’ve pointed out. He is off my board for those reasons. He’s sort of a boom or bust player.

If Starks did fall to the Eagles at 32 I would fully expect Howie to use one or more of his 2026 pics to make sure that in day two he can get DT Edge and TE

I can see Cooper making a Pro Bowl one day but Steen is going to break the streak.
