I wouldn’t insider it.  The Eagles just won the Super Bowl with 3 rookies, and two 2nd year players, playing meaningful snaps on defense.  That’s all the F U they need to say to their rivals

I hear ya but they're about to lose some DL to FA and possibly retirement. Not everyday that you get rookies contributing like we did which is nice but we'll need more in the toolbox for another run with the likely losses. Not everyday that an All Pro becomes available either. Gotta remember a huge part of the recipe was bringing in a hungry beast in FA ( Myles could be our defensive Saquon type deal).

If he is a Parsons type is he an Edge or an ILB?  If the former I can see the interest.  If the latter, I need some BPA convincing

What I found online about Campbell:

Campbell is a unique player in that he made a transition to linebacker for the Tide in 2024, but he was recruited as a consensus top-two edge rusher in his high school class. He also showed plenty of potential as a pass rusher even after his move inside.

Campbell also has some position versatility as the Crimson Tide would have him lineup on the edge and rush the passer. He adds value as a pass-rusher, both on the edge and as a blitzer, and thus would be best playing for a creative defensive coordinator who uses him at multiple spots at the next level.

I'm hopeful the Eagles interview candidates like Tee Martin, Jerrod Johnson, and David Girardi rather than just giving Patullo the OC job by acclimation.  Those 3 candidates have more direct experience working with quarterbacks than Patullo, IMO.

Deep DT class.

I hate everything about this.

My guess is the Eagles were waiting on Nussmeier and the Saints' decision before proceeding with their own OC decision.  I think Nuss worked with Hurts quite a bit this past year and might have been the Eagles top choice for the job as well.

In New Orleans he would have more pull with Moore than sticking here with Nick.

The networks would be fools to go along with this.

Available at what may be a prohibitive price in terms of pick compensation and a new contract.

Not sure if this fits into the current program.

Actually here he would call plays and he won't in NO.  Not sure we ever offered or maybe he wanted to be close to son.   I don't think we offered

Back to the days of the wide world of sports… not exactly sure what the majors would do w/o Sunday football.

I have a hard time caring.  I've been paying for Sunday Ticket for decades. YouTube is actually doing a great job with it.

If the Eagles weren't going to keep Reddick for projected $18-20M per year at age 29. They are not going to pony up for Garrett in his 30's. Cap number is $40M in his age 32 season. This is a suckers bet, where a desperate team could justify it and do this, but not the Eagles. In the driver's seat here with our youngens and another good Howie draft on the way. This is a Cowboys, Raiders and maybe Commanders type of move to make.

No giving up draft picks for Garrett (older, expensive) or Parsons (expensive, head case).

This team has chemistry, and younger guys drafted ready to step up, and can draft more guys to add to the mix.

Honestly wouldn't mind bringing in Foles for QB coach if he's interested in getting into coaching.

A defensive line with Carter and Garrett would be so lethal.  Would love Parsons as well but that would be too expensive both draft compensation and contract.

If you can pick your games that are being broadcast by Netflix and it isn't restricted to the local market that'd be nice.  Probably wouldn't happen though because it'd be a deathblow to NFL Sunday Ticket.  I'm all for more 4k NFL which I'm only getting on streaming and not from Verizon cable (outside of rare sporting events that they decide to put a 4k broadcast up for).

Getting rid of blackouts would be awesome but I don't see it happening

The current contract goes through 2033, but the NFL has the right to cancel in 2029.

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/netflix-wants-a-sunday-afternoon-nfl-package

The NFL wants a global audience, if they can get all the games on Netflix and fans can choose which game to watch instead of Sunday ticket, then the commercials will be seen by a broader audience. They would have to customize the commercials for each country or region, state or city.

And their live events haven't been good, they've had technology issues.

Patullo is doubling down on every mistake we've made in the past.  Again Super Bowl champs so not going to get too mad but it would be a low odds move to go with Patullo

How would this even work with Sunday Ticket --- that streams network television broadcast games. If Netflix had exclusive rights, and I had Sunday Ticket (youtube), how am I getting this game?

The current broadcast deals all expire in 2029: the CBS and Fox broadcast, and the YouTube TV Sunday Ticket. So this would be new, and likely replace Sunday Ticket.

I think they fixed it after the horrible Tyson fight

The season is saved!!!
