They get a lot of credit and they are a very reliable playoff team, but their one and only SB appearance in this century was in 2000. So while they draft well, maybe not well enough.

Their wrs have never been good

Did I miss something? Did they not win a Super Bowl in the Brother Bowl? 2013? Joe Flacco, Torry Smith, etc.?

Same, but I wonder if stacking his injury situation with Campbell's would be wise.

Wonder if Darien Porter would be their choice.

They were pumping up Shedeur on ESPN last night -- I think anyone that legitimately followed the draft buzz knew that there was a very good chance he was not going to be taken in the first round last night. Teams don't see him as a year 1 starter. Hell, if his name was 'Johnson' and not 'Sanders' we probably wouldn't be talking about him at all.

That said, I saw a mock that had him going to the Raiders in the 2nd round. If he falls to the 3rd, someone will take him to develop him as a backup.

So, I saw a ton of buzz about Mike Green to the Eagles early on. He's (somehow) still on the board. Think Howie jumps up and nabs him?

Hard to see that given his comments on violence towards women

I don't care for DT for us. I'm still holding out hope that Jordan Davis will achieve his upside.

No DT in the entire draft has more upside than Davis. And what DT presently on the board is likely to play at a higher level in 2025 than Ojomo? Probably no one.

Those two things are not mutually exclusive. A rotation of four DTs keeps all four fresh

You’ve chosen Scourton over Oladejo? What tipped the scales for you?

I'd be fine with Oladejo in RD2.

I'd prefer Scourton due to his size, although he may play smaller in the NFL.

IMO, I'd like DL, OT or TE on day 2. I'd rather sign a veteran safety and this WR class is bad. We can get a solid RB in RD4.

Ok, now THIS is the last one

I really don't want a TE today. Too many defensive players I love to take the 5th best TE to fill a hole you're about to create yourself. With a guy who will likely be much lesser of a player. Just Fing keep Goedert, a-holes.

Im good with waiting till round 5 for a TE. Im intrigued by the guys who were brought in. And I think they can get a decent one in round 5 in this draft. I dont think this offense necessarily needed a pro bowl caliber TE. We certainly underutilized Goedert. Gadsden, or Helm are fine with me.

Unless they trade Goedert for something higher than that and use that pick on a TE to fill right in. Id rather use the picks we have elsewhere.

DT, CB, S are more important right now. Possibly another edge. Could still use another OL and WR. Thats already more picks than we have left. RB would be nice....

Smith was far more physical than Campbell and a true edge IMO. Campbell might moonlight as an edge but he projects more as an ILB.

Sure, Nolan also had a year where people said similar things, that he was too small and didn’t have strength for edge.

They literally look like the same player on the field, and are supreme athletes with insane bounce and closing speed.

I do think he’s more of an ILB than Smith, but I think it’d be fun to see both of them moving around the LOS and playing games rushing the passer. I think he’ll get more reps at edge than people expect - but has insane coverage ability as well.

Can you guys imagine Dallas' new toy Tyler Booker who doesnt move well trying to deal with the games our front 7 can run? Smith and Campbell stunting, or Carter and Campbell, etc. Too fast for him. Even if Booker is a good player, Dallas will regret that pick every time they play the eagles.

This is actually great by the jags

Yes, but that's really 4 players, 'cause we could use both DT and Edge.

And maybe 5, 'cause you could add Safety to that list.

I think I'd look at Edge as the priority among those five spots, if the right guy is available.

I wonder how far up we'd have to move to get Green. That could put is in Epic Double-Steal mode like last year.

I said basically the same thing but I used the name "Smith". lol

According to Tony Pauline Campbell will need a shoulder amputation. These people trying to drop stories....

We need to hope there's a run on QB, WR and RB early to push these guys down. IMO, there could be as many as 6 QBs who could sneak in to round 2.

I think we're going to see a run on TE, so if they want one, they are going to need to move up. Arroyo, Taylor, Fannin, Helm and Ferguson are going to fly off the board once one is picked.

Will Johnson being available is kind of stunning. Reports on his knee are a concern, but he's a stud. I would trade 64, 96 and Ringo to get 33 and snag him and maybe get a 4th in return.

On Will Johnson… great player, but on further reflection I wouldn’t trade up for him.

There were concerns about his speed even without the injury. As a player, he’s a playmaker, but that’s mostly due to gambling and breaking on routes early. That’s kind of the opposite of what Fangio wants with discipline in coverage.

Then I look at the pool left at CB, and it’s pretty good. I think you can get a good player with fewer question marks in someone like Amos. A higher floor/ceiling with guys like Revel and Morrison, all of whom have the same injury concerns. A much higher upside guy in Porter. And the mid rounds have good prospects who would be better value, especially the two kids out of Ohio. Late rounds have some good prospects too like Zah Frasier and the kid out of Tulane (blanking on his name).

A small trade up, sure, go secure your guy. But if we are trading up to the top of round 2, it should be for someone like Scourton or Green in my opinion. Get a guy with no injury or physical questions at a higher value position. But I don’t think I’d trade up that high regardless. There will be good players that are still available in the 40’s and even 50’s.

You are right that a run on QBs, RBs, and WRs would help us a lot.

What's so wrong about it? When a person is that much of an attention **** desperately seeking the spotlight so much... they have to take the good attention with the bad attention. I believe that's partly why he's falling.

Frankly, there's no guarantee he goes in Round 2 either. lol.

But, it does further illustrate how ridiculous it was to retire his number at Colorado.

The Rams can’t have had more than 2 or 3 1st round picks over the past 10 years…weird weird organization.

I’d add the Panthers to the losers bracket…from everything I’ve seen they took a WR top 10 who doesn’t like football.

Tet is a beast. He may end up being JJAW but he could be good. Not that it is saying much, but I watched him completely eat my UNM Lobos singlehandedly this year. They had 3 dudes on him and he still killed it. Otherwise the Lobos beat them in every phase of the game 😅

Yeah, I’m starting to pull for a bizarro draft with CB (Revel🙏) and S (Mukuba) on Day 2 with Que Robinson and Tyrion Lannister-Dawkins as DL lottery tickets on Day 3.
