I'd love for Howie to get Josaiah Stewart in this round. DT is pretty much cleaned out.

Shough was in the same high school class as Brock Purdy

Hey we drafted Nate Allen! Can’t like them all.

The only thing Roseman can do at this point to redeem himself is to draft Sanders so he can flip him for a 1st round pick.

Bronny James got picked ahead of Shedeur...

This might be the funniest thing I've seen in awhile

Eagles second round pick Andrew Mukuba only allowed 74 yards on 401 coverage snaps in 2024. 74. Yards. (Via:

Seems like a pick that people will force themselves to believe was a good pick because Howie can do no wrong

I only took a quick, cursory look at safety footage of these prospects, but Watts and Mukuba stood out to me as the best of the group. Better upside than Starks, IMO. Starks is more pro ready but much better near the LOS and weaker in downfield coverage.

Mukuba can do both, IMO

Like the pick. A true centerfielder.

It's not so much the spot, as it is the pick.

Alexander, Jackson or the Safeties from Penn St or ND would have me tingling.

Do you folks even watch secondary play? Notice how the Eagles announced him. Not S but DB. He’s a DB with CB level coverage skills and S instincts. That describes CJGJ. It also describes Cooper. I love the Parker/Fangio approach to the back seven. Versatility. Doesn’t bode well for Cine, which is sad for me. Note that McCollum played close to a quarter of the S snaps last year and even discounted for Coop’s recovery time, Maddox got some snaps.

I don’t remember enough of it but Fran a couple days ago in one of the phly podcast did a good job talking about it and how cerebral he was. How fangio would love that type of guy at safety.

And that is so so important at safety. Its why they are so difficult to evaluate and project

You get dumber by the day. Miss a step coming off the short bus?

Landon Jackson gone. Fran said he had medical concerns.

Dean went into a lot of depth about it. I expected he’d be the safety they’d target. I figured they’d move up from 96 to get him. So I’m not surprised they just took him at 64. That said when they announce the draft pick, they said a defensive back. So part of me thinks he might play some slot corner (has at Texas from what i read) if they have to move dejean to the outside if Ringo isn’t good enough.

VIc can do no wrong.

Here's the hit he's referring to...

Since I don't really follow college football, I don't know if this is a great pick or not, but I've seen mixed reactions about him. I do like addressing the position, I really wanted them to take a safety today. We will see how it goes, trusting Fangio on what he wants. I've seen a lot of comments about his versatility being able to play multiple positions in the back secondary. We are seeing Vic liking versatile players.

Every single worthwhile TE is gone now.

Howie, we cannot lose Goedert now. Just pay him

Helm? Evans? Both would fit with the Birds. Ignore Helms 40 as it reflects his willingness to run with an ankle injury versus Dion’s kids.
