Wilson is considered HOFer?

It’s an interesting debate. Before Denver, I would have said yes. I’m not sure now though

I'll say it again. It's not the Hall of Very Good, it's the Hall of Fame. It needs to be more exclusive.

I think Vic prefers a longer more physical outside corner if given the choice

Yet he had Rodgers starting over Ringo.

Oh thanks so much for saying it again. My day wouldn’t have been complete without it.

He doesn't though.

2020: played 13 games

2021: played 17 games

2022: played 15 games

2023: suspended

2024: played 15 games

That should be 4 accrued seasons. I don't see why one of those wouldn't count.

Hrm.

I have no idea other than that the NFL may just hate him.🤷‍♂️

You're welcome. It's important to have something to look forward to.

Wilson probably gets in even though he had the LoB and Lynch

More importantly, the defense as a whole was way stronger than 2022.   The 2022 defense was feast or famine based on the front winning.  The back end was pretty weak... which was exploited in the Super Bowl.  That wasn't the case this past year, and a lot of the pressures came as a result of the sticky coverage.

Gannon was one of the worst DC's I have ever seen. Talent got it done against bad to mediocre QBs.

Good QBs put up regular 120 rating games on him.

Dak put up a 143.3, 151.8, and 124.3 in 3 games against Gannon. (regular season Dak is a very good stat compiler when he can expose somebody)

Mahomes put up 42 in the regular season in 2021 with a 131 rating.

We can all understand that the 1991 Eagles defense was not because of Kotite and the 1992 Eagles playoff win was not because of Kotite. We should be able to grasp the same concept for a useless Gannon.

Gannon's AZ defenses were ranked 28 25 and 21 15

I keep forgetting that Rodgers is a RFA. He’ll be back and the heavy favorite to start.

It's an RFA situation?   Interesting.   Let's say he doesn't come back... what's the compensation the Eagles get back, is that based on the tender amount they offer him?  Is that how that works?

Hall of UNLIMITED

I'm a little confused by his RFA status. Spotrac has him as a UFA. Doesn't he have 4 seasons under his belt?

I don't think he gets credit for the 2023 season because of the suspension.

He doesn't but it shouldn't matter

I keep seeing this but I don't understand why. He has 4 accredited seasons (2020, 2021, 2022, 2024). I don't see what makes him a RFA

Ok then...

You aren’t watching the All22.

I am not.  But there's only 112 opportunities to watch him... and more than half of those were in garbage time/games.

I don't know how much can really be learned from that.

Berman and Wulf confirmed Rodgers was a RFA on yesterday's show.

Is Slay’s contract tradeable?

Keeping or trading him doesn't really change the impact on the salary cap from what I've gleaned about his situation.  The salary is minimal... the vast majority of his cost is the prorated bonuses.

Do the Eagles have money to spend on an outside UFA?   And would signing him cancel out Sweat signing elsewhere in the comp pick equation?  And maybe more importantly, would signing him cancel out losing Sweat on the field?

I don’t get the love affair with Ringo.  His upside is more than likely already reached.  A good ST’r and 1st or 2nd guy off the bench.

Ringo has actually performed fairly well as an outside CB.  He is a good tackler and is physical with receivers.  What experience will give him is an ability to anticipate routes and make up for some of his lack of hip flexibility.  I think he has potential to be an above average CB especially in a zone system that allows him to react to a route.

Maybe he lost one of them in a bad bet.

I coulda swore he was an UFA. If he's a RFA, that changes so much.

Not by me.  What did he do to really stand out as elite?  The bar has really been lowered for the Hall of Fame, especially for QBs.

We've had this possibility for more than 10 years now with the NFL Gamepass option.  I guess the Netflix brand would be way bigger but the functions are exactly what all the international posters have had now for over a decade.  There were some early teething issues but for the most part it works great now.  I think I had to restart the stream three or four times total all year this year and never any buffering problems for me.

You can pick any game and look at them live or at any point thereafter.  If you want to have multiple games on split screens you can do that as well. For replays, you can choose a 40 minute version (all plays, no huddles), full game without commercials, highlights of course, or the All-22 and they have all the games backward in time for about 10 years.  Also, all the NFL network stuff is on live 24x7 including all the studio stuff, Redzone, etc.  One nice function they no longer have was the ability to choose the home audio, sadly no more Merrill.

I'm interested to see how this goes for international fans.  The NFL effectively allowed DAZN to beta test their NFL product in Canada before launching it globally.   I personally can't stand the DAZN app because it autoplays game highlights for no reason, the controls are illogical and they often break the app when updating.

But that aside, the quality on DAZN is very good - better than the previous iterations they had and our TV coverage - and I may have had 1 drop the entire time once a stream got started.  Its a great POC for Netflix to follow.

Doesn't autoplay anything for me.  Maybe it is a setting you need to set.

Overall, I thought DAZN was definitely better.  It seemed to take a bit longer to get the stream started but once it was going it was very stable.

They might consider him the first running QB 🤷‍♂️ who knows
