The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

I wonder how bad Asatnte Jr's injury is. Maybe they look to him post draft

I'd like a trade up this morning for Robinson or Swinson. I'm now a little bummed that we didn't get a Dlineman in a draft full of good dDlinemen. Having Pumphrey regret.

I’d really like Swinson as well. But that said, I doubt we trade up. If we liked a guy at 101 we would have just taken them.

More likely we trade down yet again.

That sounds eerily similar to Brandon Graham.

OK... I'm confused. lol

Weight adjusted testing isn’t kind to Mukuba. In-game athleticism via GPS doesn’t care about weight, just how quickly someone is moving.

So I wasn't around last night.

What is the general take on day 2?

People were underwhelmed. I love Mukuba. Best safety fit in the draft. Just needs to clean up his tackling and gain a few pounds.

Don't forget, Shedeur Sanders, the best QB of all-time, continues to go undrafted!

I think it was pretty meh.

Can't say the Eagles have had a bad draft so far. They're picking good players and they are picking last. Campbell and Mukuba were actually two of my guys. But I have to admit I expected more. Don't like the fact that through the first two days, still no DL or OL were taken.

I hope Jerry lives for 100 more years

I'm not sure why anyone would put a lot of weight on workouts in shorts, doing stylized drills, when we have real time tracking data on players on the field, in full uniform, actually playing.

Hey, it sucks picking #32, #64, et al.

Memo to Howie, don't win another SB. 🤣

I was like YAY!! And the fizzled with the trade downs. Only because I always want to keep picking players. Happy to have the extra pick today though.

Today should be fun at least. I'd imagine Howie moves up and down the board again. I'd love to see a veteran added via trade with all these picks he's acquired.

So do you think he’ll trade for veterans to fill any gaps?

Very likely, but toward the end of TC.

At that point he'll know his needs, and other teams tend to overrate camp performances of rookies and are willing to sell veterans cheap, you see a lot of solid backups go for 5th and 6th rd picks, of which he has a lot in 2026.

From the content I've looked at, he seems to be a decent fit.

Even though I am concerned about TE and DT, I am not lamenting over the state of the roster. We still have a dozen guys that played at Pro Bowl level last season.

It's a shame there are a lot of good LB available and many would be an upgrade over Trotter Jr. We need to separate our nostalgic feelings for Trotter Jr. He got a SB and that's great, but if they can upgrade, they should.

Barret Carter, Smael Mondon Jr., Danny Stutsman, Cody Simon, Kobe King, Jeffrey Bassa, Jack Kiser are all better than Trotter IMO and could be had in the 4th. I have no issue making LB a strength.

Yup, they’re all good. Really like the kid from Georgia, Mondon. He’s going to be a player. Kiser would be great late as well. Perfect coverage LB to push Trotter.

That all said, we got the best LB in the draft already, so I don’t know how many snaps will be there. If Dean or, god forbid, Baun get hurt then I think Campbell gets penciled in at LB on early downs.

I know, but I got a large lump of Dlinemen FOMO.

BG was one of the most dominating/dominant college players I remember. You should like the kid from Central Arkansas.

Eagles should have zero interest in Sanders.

McKee is a much better QB, solid #2 who has shown it in real NFL games

Does anyone thing Sanders has the personality to accept a #3 role for 2-3 seasons and work hard to improve, run the scout team, and keep his mouth shut?

David Walker. Want.

I don’t know the medical risk, but put that aside, the Eagles landed the most versatile LB in the draft on day one. Note a bad risk for 32 and Pickett discounting the value of DTR.

Then on day two a pick that fills a need in the secondary. Mukuba is this year’s Cooper. He can play both S with CB skills and NCB with S skills. He’s close to Q size, bigger than Jackson. He will challenge in the S room but also offer flexibility with DeJean, because he can play that combo S/NCB position, so if they need to swing Coop outside, they can. Allows Jackson, if he is able, to possibly be this year’s Isiah Rodgers.

There really weren’t a lot of players worth moving up for. But I think the Eagles can get some depth today. Quite possibly a starter level player.

Funny thing is the NFL prospect site has grades on players and we are within 8 players of Sanders valuation. That’s right, grade wise the NFL’s own board had Sanders as a Day 4 value. Now QBs get picked higher than grades but with his Dad, I could see him slipping further than 8 more slots.

Yup, Mukuba is my S2 and likely the best immediate fit for this defense (as Starks didn’t really specialize as a 2H zone safety in the same way). We all liked Winston and the ND kid, but the league has spoken.
