I felt the same way about Mukuba pick as I did when they picked Jurgens. Loved the player and fit. Thought they'd go a round later but clearly the eagles disagreed.

Let's hope this turns out as well.

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

It's a shame there are a lot of good LB available and many would be an upgrade over Trotter Jr. We need to separate our nostalgic feelings for Trotter Jr. He got a SB and that's great, but if they can upgrade, they should.

Barret Carter, Smael Mondon Jr., Danny Stutsman, Cody Simon, Kobe King, Jeffrey Bassa, Jack Kiser are all better than Trotter IMO and could be had in the 4th. I have no issue making LB a strength.

Crap I didn’t put Kiser in my day 3 players but I would love him for special teams.. he is older but who cares

My day 3 guys

Bradyn Swinson

Jack Sawyer

Miles Frazier

Marcus Mbow

Jaydon Blue

Gunnar Helm

Kyle Kennard

Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins

Joshua Farmer

Barrett Carter

Did I hope Howie could thread the needle and get him in the 3rd due to his size… sure. But I also thought we’d have to be very fortunate to get him at 96. I get the logic, I think it was good process and not go’in to quibble about Mukuba.

He is just what Fangio wants: a guy who can roam and get interceptions. I think in a couple years he is in the 195-200 lbs range. Personally, I love the pick.

This is always a painful/frustrating/tense part of the draft for me as the names I know quickly dry up, and we get into the unknown territory of the 6th-7th rounds where I’m clearly ambivalent.

How I feel.

Campbell is better than Dean off a torn patella, assuming the shoulder is healthy.
Makuba should be able to replace CJGJ's production. Frankly, I would be disappointed if he's not better by the end of the year.

2 starters in this class drafting at 32 every round = home run.

Absolutely. I'd like 1-2 solid depth pieces now.

Yeah, that was my initial though as well, but at the same time even if they end up wrong about Mukuba if they felt that strongly about him I'm glad they trusted their guts and sent in the card. They must see something in him and I'm guessing it's how good he is in zone along with the intangibles. UT and Cowboy fans seem to think we got a good one.

This is the part of the draft where you hope for a few names, half of those go before we pick then the Eagles don't take from your list anyway and take a guy you need to look up

I know it's inevitable that other teams are going to get good to great players. But these are draft picks I hate. Good players with great fits on their teams.

NYG- Abdul Carter

SF- Mykel Williams

Washington- Josh Conerly

KC- Josh Simmons

Seattle- Nick Emmanwori

Chicago- Luther Burden Jr.

Dallas- Donovan Ezeiruaku

Washington- Trey Amos

Chicago- Shemar Turner

KC- Omarr Norman-Lott

NYG- Darius Alexander

LAR- Josiah Stewart

He was 194 at his pro day. So far so good.

I don’t understand the love for Darius Alexander. He wasn’t even impactful as an old man in the MAC.

Tom Pelissero said the Eagles are one of the teams that could take a flier on Sanders(among other teams obviously).

Thank goodness for the Beast.

Who knew Rodney was that small

The thing that stands out to me is his ability to read keys and diagnose route concepts. I imagine Vic loved him. He was up to 194 at his pro day. If he can play around that weight, he should be just fine.

Ferguson was my guy at TE. Once he went, there weren’t anymore exciting starting TE prospects unless you believe in the the Notre Dame kid. The Georgia Tech kid is the best blocker if we wanna draft an easily translatable role player. DT has thinned out. Maybe old man Robinson?

Now it is well known that BigEFly has a Notre Dame bias but Evans intrigues me.

Awesome - already Buddha Baker sized (ah, Rodney McLeod - nice reference).

I just think he's going to be a solid pro. Not flashy, but a steady plug and play guy.

Oh crap...I could see Howie thinking he could trade him for a good pick

Everyone mocked me for saying Sanders could be an Eagles pick before the draft. We will walk way from the draft with me being correct.

Hopefully, the Raiders take him at 108 and we don't have to worry

Yes, this is why I said I'd take him. Not because I want him. I'd much prefer they'd take positions of need here. But it would be a potential investment. To flip him eventually for a better pick. And at worst you have a quality backup.

Slow down Seabiscuit. You were promoting him as a day-1 or day-2 pick.

Horton is still available. WR depth is needed.

Big Dom humbling Deion...what a sight that would be.

I just can't see Howie and Sirianni taking on Sanders and I like him as a QB.
