Que goes to Denver. One of the good ones left is off the board.

My suspicion is the Eagles board only has 100-150 names on it, Howie has learned not to waste picks on players who aren't good fits, no matter how highly rated by amateurs.

He's learned to target his high value players, and trade up if needed.

But as he gets deeper into the draft, he'd rather trade back, accumulate lottery tickets and just pick the guys he wants.

Once you get past 120 or so, odds are against finding a starter, and backups can be added off waivers or late round draft pick trades - and they're often far more NFL ready than late round rookies.

The "Flyer" picks tend to need a year or two of the weight room and coaching, so they're not going to help this season in any case, so most are headed to the PS by September.

So he'd rather have more lottery picks than settle for a decent player with limited upside who'll contribute in his 2nd year as a backup at best.

Deion gonna put out a hit on those prank callers now that they exposed themselves. 🤣

What was the flag for Bradyn Swinson? Injury or character? Odd he's still out there

I see no reason to drop down for a 7th

It’s a 6th, although one towards the end of that round

Maybe it turns into a blocking TE or something.

Mbow, Frazier or Evans at 140?

Swinson, the other Cobee Bryant, Mbow, and the guy with the great name... Darian Strong. All still out there.

Not sure, but he was a guy I was high on for Day 2. Thought he would be a good complement to the EDGE rotation. Surprised he is still out there

Eagles hold 145, not 140.

All these extra throw in picks... Gotta think a trade for a veteran is coming.

One thing that seems apparent, is Eagles drafting tough, physical defenders who have "that dawg" in em, can intimidate and are mentally tough as well.

Word salad

Developing those late guys while the can play STs is how you keep depth long term

Hard to believe that 4 rounds are now complete, and the Eagles only have 3 picks used... and only flipped one for next year.

It's a bad feeling when each pick comes and Howie doesn't see the value at each spot. Means the guys they wanted were taken and he didn't move up for them. Obviously we have no idea how it will turn out.

How is it possible to have so many International Fan of the Year blokes from Australia? Clearly its not an exclusive award.

Serious question

WTF is a Field Yates? David Muir’s fluffer?

They got a 6th to move back half a round. If they wanted Travis that badly they'd have traded up for him. Given what the Eagles got, the price would be like a future 7th to move up 4 spots.

Yea I agree, I think Howie just doesn't love the talent in this draft and that's okay!

I also don't get why people are so obsessed with finding a Lane replacement when the dude has said a few times he plans on playing a few more years. Not that we would likely find that replacement in the late 4th anyway.

Let's check in with AJ Brown for his thoughts on the draft...

The man needs his rest.

Vikings took Dawkins. Does Howie like anybody in this draft?

I more think we need a a swing tackle
