Setting aside that Hurts is an A with intangibles and Sanders is about a D/F, Hurts played 4 years at big time schools in huge games. Hurts also played within the confines of a structured program and offense and Sanders looks like a guy who doesn't even read the field at all, just plays sandlot ball which will absolutely not translate to the NFL

I had a feeling the Eagles were going to snatch him up. Glad Cleveland decided to be Cleveland, jumped them and drafted him ahead of their pick.

Love McChord…some upside, but i think like Gabriel will have a Colt McCoy type career. Very good back up that will be in the league for 10-15 years.

And? That’s fantastic for a 6th round pick.

Bold take. The last three QBs taken (McCord, Howard, Riley) have more successful careers than Sanders.

McCord is probably here as camp fodder and PS material, unless Thompson totally screws the pooch.

McKee is entrenched as the back up QB for the next two seasons.

Need decent QBs in camp, nothing worse that trying to evaluate WRs and TEs with backup QBs who can't hit the side of a barn.
