Can Sebastian Castro be next?

He's kind of the polar opposite of Graham.

He wins pass rush reps with a quick first step, good hand usage, and a spin move. Short arms and lacks a power rush, so he's looking to get around the corner. Doesn't set the edge well at all in the run game.

Think of him as a role player. You put him out there on third down and let him pin his ears back and rush the passer. You don't want him on the field on rushing downs and he has zero potential to rush from the interior.

In three words … Designated Pass Rusher.

That same description could be applied to Huff.

Any veteran free agents of interest? Everyone assumed they'd sign a safety. Now that they just drafted Mukuba you'd think that's off the table, but I wouldn't entirely rule out Simmons if he can be had for dirt cheap. I'd rather have him than McCollum just as depth and insurance. Or Blackmon. And let the group battle it out in camp.

I mentioned Za'Darius Smith before. A veteran Edge presence to replace BG that's hungry for a title. He's simply a better player than Ojulari and definitely Uche. Uche Fing blows, as far as I'm concerned he's a long shot to make the team. Still don't get why they signed him.

Asante Jr?

Elijah Moore? Probably gets paid more than Eagles could do.

Trade for Michael Mayer? I think the Eagles would've done that in the draft if that was a thing. But maybe not.

Asante has this chronic stinger that's been an issue. Depending what happens with Goedert they could trade a pick from next year. They have a lot of picks

Allen, Croskey-Merritt, and Sanders. Only 3 RBs left that I know I like.

Mailata was carried on the active roster. He was no IR'd. Again, on IR you dont get to develop. You can not practice with the team on IR.

It depends on how you look at it. When we needed that roster space as a rookie, he was moved to IR. Same thing in 2019, except it happened much earlier. The point is, we weren't exposing him to another team even though we knew he wouldn't play. He was unable to practice at either point while on IR. Both times it ensured he'd get another off-season with the Eagles to continue to develop.

damn. LeQuint Allen... Im going to be left with no UDFA RB targets.

It makes a hell of a lot more sense to do it that way then to come up with a phantom IR in camp and take away opportunities.

Hoping maybe Stackhouse makes it to UDFA. So many picks left tho

Seems like we didn't really care much about the size of players...unless they played in the trenches. Then we wanted the biggest fattest man available.

20 more to go.

I don't know if this is the flex everyone thinks it is. Sure, the more darts you throw, the better the chances of hitting, but I'd rather see that say Howie entered with 8 picks and came away with 4 blue chip players. The draft is always a crap shoot but loading up on late round picks isn't my idea of killing it.

It depends on how deep your roster is. Like I said, when push came to shove, the Eagles chose to stash Mailata on IR to open a roster spot for a player that could contribute that year.

Mafah, The cowboys keep trying to draft RBs but cant get a good one. Blue and Mafah. lol nice tries.

Do we get a draft pick because Kellen Moore got a head coaching job or does that only work for minority hires?

Did that 450lb NT from Florida get drafted? Not sure you need to block him, but it takes a little while to run around him.

Yeah I'm wearing a diaper, ain't no way in hell I'm sitting there for 6 hrs with no bathroom breaks

I understand that but I don't see how they keep three rookie OLs. Better to stash one on IR than expose them to waivers. If you could guarantee me the one that is cut won't get picked up on waivers and will go to the practice squad then I would be ok with cutting that player.

Here are the OLs right now>

the 5 starters

the three rookies

Green, Keegan, Lamb, Pryor, Toth, Kinnard

Toth will definitely be cut. One of Keegan/Green will be cut. Then who?

Hinton with the nose bar. Sign me up.

Exactly.

Love him for that role. I'm very high on him this late in the draft and texted a buddy of mine before we took Cameron Williams that I wanted him. He has the chance to be a true impact situational player.

But people see the huge sack numbers and RAS score, then read a blurb online about how disruptive he is as a run defender, and they don't understand it's like a girl telling you how her friend has nice eyes when you ask what she looks like. I mean, I won't say there is no chance he becomes a starter, but I just don't see it. Yes, he is disruptive as a run defender because he's good at getting penetration. And you'll see that for sure. But it's all the reps he doesn't get into the backfield -- which is the overwhelming majority -- where his limitations present themselves.

Get 4 other guys on the roster who can set the edge on 1st and 2nd. Let APR play on 3rd and long, fresh off the bench, and go do what he's good at.
