It's going to be tough to make the team with all the competition, but between those three we should be able to get one useful player. All of them have intriguing tools to work with.

Looking at the current O-Line complement, we have the five starters plus Green and Keegan at guard, plus Pryor, Lamm, Toth and Kinnard at Tackle. Today we added Kendall at Center/Guard and Hinton, Williams and Pierce at Tackle. Kendall almost surely makes the 53-man as the Center backup. Toth and Kinnard and Pryor almost surely go to the Practice Squad. Keegan is a roster lock. That is seven on the roster and Green, Lamm, and the three rookie tackles. The rookies Ned the practice reps so they probably all three make the 53-man and one of Green and Lamm goes on IR … probably Lamm, since Green needs the full Stoutland U treatment just like the rookies do.

Lassiter is BYUs annual token black WR.

Utah has about a 2% black population, majority of them in SLC, provo, about 60 miles south of SLC is even more white than SLC so black WRs in provo are a novelty

Lassiter was ok, if I remember he was a transfer from Mich St.

Yeah why such a big guarantee for him

That is in the ballpark of the bonus that an Eagles 6th Round pick gets per OverTheCap … $48,860 times four = $195,440

I think he measured as expected. Solid athlete, short arms. Disagree with you on the run game. He gets moved at the point of attack. Maybe he can get stronger but OL are always going to be able to get into his pads because of this.

I like him a lot as a third down pass rusher. Good prospect for that role. Don't think he can ever be an every down player though.

How long were Trent Cole’s arms?

I don’t know who’s going to win the Sydney Brown/Mukuba safety battle but one of those guys might take a receiver’s head off trying to duel it out. They’re both missiles.

I guess thats how we had to get guys?

Someone was saying on twitter these guarantees havent really meant anything in philly. So to say, those players still frequently get cut.

Typically you think it means the team must really like him so he has a good shot to make it. But that hasnt necessarily been true.

Those are the equivalent of the Signing Bonuses that the drafted players get, and even if cut they get to keep all their Signing Bonus money.

I'm still asking that question. And why does anyone listen to him?

Because there are idiots like me out there. I don’t follow college football at all but am an absolute NFL junkie. I watch every single minute of the draft that I possibly can.

So if I didn’t have this place, I need some loud, self assured talking head to tell me what to think.

When you get right down to it, the only knock on Robinson is age.

Josaiah Stewart is the player I regret the Eagles didn't go get. He on the Rams with Verse, is a really good line.

I’m with you on that, but you can’t win them all.

So the QB complement is:

Jalen Hurts

Tanner McKee

Dorian Thompson-Robinson

Kyle McCord

My expectation is that DTR ends up on the Practice Squad

I think there will be a lawsuit. And there should be. This stuff needs to stop.

Deion gonna have someone handle them kids. 😆

Really stupid to expose themselves.

The age thing isn’t all about being an old rookie it’s about being a developed 23 yr old playing against 19yr olds and looking artificially good because of it. Might not be the case here but it’s a thing. It’s why firemen Danny looked good in college

NFL Network, ABC, NFL Channel on Peacock (another NFL Network crew) , various YouTube feeds.

Todd McShay compared Robinson to Zach Allen. If he can become a Zach Allen that would be one of the steals of the draft.

The RB complement is:

Saquon Barkley

A.J. Dillon

Will Shipley

Tyrion Davis-Price

Lew Nichols

Avery Williams

Ben VanSumeren

Florida RB Montrell Johnson

Central Arkansas RB ShunDerrick Powell

Barkley is the only surefire lock in that group.

Dillon has injury questions.

Shipley needs to step up and consistently show the production we saw in the NFCCG

VanSumeren is a great story, but it is possible that Ty Robinson will get the FB duties if having a full time FB creates a roster cut down dilemma.

The UDFAs and Davis-Price and Nichols will probably be vying for Practice Squad spots.

I used to be like that but I just can't stand them anymore

It might have something to do with the excessive amount of commercials but also some of them just don't have good takes anymore IMO. I don't know if the word would be that it's just too much fluff but it's not like it used to be

Zach Allen or Beau Allen?

Might be another thing that's annoying is you need a streaming service or pay an extra channel for them

It wouldn't surprise me if they were disciplined by the school for breach of code of conduct and/or confronted by classmates

The WR complement is:

A.J. Brown

DeVonta Smith

Jahan Dotson

Johnny Wilson

Ainias Smith

Terrance Marshall

Danny Gray

Elijah Cooks

Wake Forest WR/PR Taylor Morin

The only three of these who are roster locks are Brown, Smith and Dotson.

Zach

Only 1 of the several options I listed is a separate paid service. ABC is free Network TV. NFLN is usually in same cable packas ESPN.

We will get a vet during August cuts if I had to bet
