A DB on a tryout. Still surprised at lack of CB action. Seems like an easy path for UDFA

Have not seen Tomi Hill anywhere yet.

'Starters' on their last year in 2025...Reed Blankenship, Jordan Davis (if option isn't picked up), Nakobe Dean, Jahan Dotson, Dallas Goedert

Contributors/backups...Grant Calcaterra, Kenyon Green (if option isn't picked up), Adoree' Jackson, Braden Mann, Azeez Ojulari, Josh Uche

We are well positioned for the next couple seasons.

Right now, on offense, only TE1, TE2, and WR3 are not under contract through 2026.

Yeah, I know there are other options. But I've been watching the ESPN broadcast for decades. I don't know if it's habit or just the familiarity of it, but I can't get myself to switch.

I swapped back and forth between the TV and IPad using Hulu…apparently I watched 3 different networks. Whichever was in the top corner when i popped the Hulu app up.

I know I'm fooling myself into hoping. I don't know who is out there to sign besides Rasul and Asante Jr

If true, they should forfeit their first round pick next season. Oh, wait! They traded that to LA for Pearce Jr.

I don't see Dotson as a lock.

AJ is pretty ding prone

Despite knowing he’s going to survive still hold our breathe when Devonta takes a hit.

Dotson is the only name on that list that inspires any sort of confidence. I’d say he’s a lock personally. Unless they add a vet to the WR room.

The Eagles seem to be throwing s against the wall for S yet paper thin at CB

Gilmore, Hilton, Henderson, Fuller...Bradberry ph34r

Honestly the only guy I'd be interested is Samuel Jr at this point. Even Douglas looked pretty cooked last year and based on this draft it seems as if Vic favors speed over size in his DBs.

Dillon Gabriel really isn’t much good at all, so Sanders should be able to beat him out for a QB3 spot by the end of training camp and preseason. That’s only if he comes to camp with the proper attitude — which hasn’t been his M.O. to this point

If I was a betting man, I’d wager that Gabriel & McChord have the longest NFL careers of any QB in this draft. They might finish their careers with a collective 10 starts between them but both will be long term back ups.

Well.... that should make next years draft pretty fun, watching pass catchers.

If true, that franchise is S tier at collecting L’s.

That means we get to nit pick the top QB’s for their WR’s tape!

The top 3 are locks this year. With Blankenship, Mukuba, and Brown. Honestly think they are looking to see if someone looks like they can step up to replace Blankenship before they have to sign him for big money.

This is the year for throwing stuff at the wall. If no one is flashing, then next year I guess they may go harder at finding that replacement.

I could be wrong but I believe Mukuba and McWilliams scored pretty high in their speed/agility scores but were red in the size measurements. So they still went with athletes, just smaller ones in their DBs.

They seem to have more faith than I expected in Ringo. I mean Adoree is a good backup plan in 2025, but it doesn’t seem like they wanted to close the door on Kelee in 2026 with a premium pick (I guess any pick really).

Yeah I'm not criticizing. Just their pick and signings lean toward safety. The way it fell I suppose.

Seems like all the CBs added are slot guys. That's a need but we lost 2 outside CBs and only added one and that's assuming Adoree doesn't flame out like Greedy Williams (I think Adoree is better)

Yeah. Adoree is proven.

There really is no backup plan at nickel so I think that makes sense.

Most of us expected a bigger challenge and possible long term starter out outside CB but it appears the eagles are more than comfortable with Ringo.

This is the key to understanding Howie's draft philosophy, scrubs are always available, as UDFAs, SFAs, waiver wire, late round pick trades, off your PS.

I think by "starters" he means guys in the group of 30 something players who get most of the snaps, so not just the every snap guys, but key reserves, NCB, Pass rush specialists, blocking TEs, #2 RB, 3rd WR, and top ST guys. About 35 or so.

The other 18 roster spots can be filled by scrubs and prospects on red shirt seasons. With the new PS rules, you can stash a few marginal veterans as short-term injury replacements and reserve roster spots for prospects with upside.

So he doesn't worry about positions in the draft, he's looking for players who can become part of that impact game day group.
